Nice update thanks Guys. It did look a bit lumpy further out. Definitely where a skilled boatman comes into play. Nice Pollock, a Lobster, and my favourite Mackerel! 2 large Mackerel for tea last night, baked in foil with Butter & Garlic Pepper, plus home made chips! 😋😋 Tight lines, keep 'em coming, and stay safe & well. 🎣🎣👍👍
I do love a lumpy sea! Thanks for taking me out (in my ancient long-distance wish it was now, memory of fishing trips as a child) "with" you! Much love to you both x
Cracking video folks . very interesting and informative as always . I'm glad to see that things are improving with the catch rate .. Anyway keep safe and well .
You have got some lovely blue skies over there Troy , ours are full of chem trails . Love mackerel but we can't seem to be able to purchase any over here as yet .
Everything that goes up now is usually within the past week unless the video is going to take to long to edit or the video gives to much away on some certain species. Any other trips round the island will probably be a bit later in the summer. When we switch outboards and a few more species show up.
Ha ha. My fault. I meant sightseeing trips on land.🙂 I had a very enjoyable school holiday on Guernsey many yonks ago so it's a stroll down memory lane. That said, extended range trips out in the boat would be welcome too.
Simple she does not. The winch does most of the lifting and I lift the heaviest pots into the boat. You see the best shots which is Rebecca as you would mostly see my back if not. Also someone has to drive the boat steer into the waves keep the tension off the ropes in strong tides while avoiding the ropes and rocks. She does not want that responsibility. We both work as a team have a great time, if not then we would not be out there.
Lumpy seas but at least you caught some nice fish well done Trojs and Rebecca 😊😊🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟
Often the way with a bit of movement the fish go on the feed :)
Ah my favourite Sunday viewing, just love being out on the water with you guys.

Possibly
How do you cook the mackerel
Fresh caught an straight from the frying pan, Smoked. Or one of my favorites deep fried in a light batter.
Great vids.. where do you fish from??
Guernsey
Why is it Rebecca does all the heavy lifting?
