Dear Cynthia, Thank you for your explanation. I am a nurse with eight years of experience. Could you please advise me on the process of obtaining a work visa? I currently hold a multiple-entry visitor visa. Is it possible to change this visa to a work visa, or would I need to apply for a new work visa separately ? Thank you
@tahirugaselmi6992 yes dear, there is new update on home care givers that are coming up 31 march, you can start applying for jobs in the Canadian job website
@tahirugaselmi6992 if you are still outside Canada apply when they make the final decision and besides look into express entry bcos they nominate health workers too
Thank you very much. This is very insightful. I have made several applications for jobs set dates for interviews but once they realize i am not in Canada the line of communication goes silent. Is being outside of Canada a disadvantage. Should one travel into Canada to find a job. What are your thoughts and recommendations?
Thanks for watching dear,it might actually be that the job you applied is for those living in Canada,i had that same issue while I was in my home country immediately they noticed I was not in Canada, they told me sorry that the job is met for people living in Canada though my visa has approved, but the date of resumption of the job is in 2weeks time, and am moving to Canada in 3months time. But they kept my details and promised when I land in Canada should contact them. So now in your own case always apply for jobs that are met for people who are outside Canada expecially the one the employer has filed LMIA
@@justincynthia4266 Thank you very much very kind of you to respond. The information will guide me on how to navigate the job market. Yes yes LMIA. got you I appreciate this. I have watched this over and over again hoping to breakthrough in nursing.
Yes and no,so some province would want you to have express entry acct before they give you job, while some.employers gives direct without minding if you have express entry so far they have Lmia
Thank you so much for this explanation. Please,if you have a job offer from an employer who is in Canada, can the employer still help you apply for the work visa,or you must apply by yourself. Secondly, what are the requirements for work visa application? Must one have IELTS? Please kindly reply, thank you
It depends on the agreement sometimes they will apply or you apply yourself. Work visa applications it's a must you have job offer first then with other genuine documents of yours. You don't need ieths
This is a detailed explanation. Thank you

Does one have to go through express entry before getting work visa?
