    5:32 That sells me on it. The other prop firms _not_ having a handy-dandy little "disable my trades before I blow my/your account" button just feels like they're setting us up to lose.
    Thank you, Kevin. Glad I'm subscribed!

      Hi Psiga. It really is a great feature. Best of luck and lmk how your challenge goes. If you don't already have a strategy, you can check out my ichimoku playlist. If you do, my essential playlist would be helpful.

      Both are good options. Hopefully the goal is to have max funding across multiple firms.

    I just signed up with your referral because you are the one that mentioned Blue guardian to me and I like you to be rewarded for it. You mentioned in this video that they are based in the UK but I found they have moved to the UAE. I hope this will not affect their delivery and credibility going forward?

      I will appreciate it if you can make a video on Blue guardian dashboard walk through explaining the various features and particularly the rules including the hidden ones if there is.

      There are a number of firms based in the UAE. I think as of now the only risk are unregulated ones and others based in the USA. Thanks and best of luck to you.

      I'd say the most important feature is the Guardian Protector. Watch again around 5:30 to learn more. I would set it to 3% or less. If you hit this amount in a day, all of your other trades will automatically close. There really aren't any hidden rules about news, EAs etc. I would risk 0.5% or less per trade and take your time. Use an EA to calculate position size so you don't worry about making a mistake. I've faced huge spreads during rollover so make sure to close all trades by 5PM EST.

    Apart from FTMO i read alot of negative reviews about some other prop firms. Kevin which 3 prop firms would you recommend?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'd say FTMO has the best executions out of everyone.
      I'm current taking 2 challenges.
      Blue Guardian: bit.ly/3Z38vO8
      Traders with Edge: bit.ly/3STGFCN
      Eightcap is a decent broker but not without its issues.
      3 that I've heard good things about but haven't had a chance to try yet are: Funded Engineer, FundingPips and Alpha Capital

    What if when I enter the position of FTMO, it starts red(-) and reaches -5% while the market is still open and does not hit SL. Is that hass account burnt or violated?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Max daily loss is a combination of closed positions and open. You have a 25k account so at no point can your equity get below $23,750. You take 2 scalps and lose -$300 and -$400, so your account is at $24,300. You open 2 more trades that run -$275 of open loss each. Even if these do not hit your SL and turn around and end up being $2k winners it doesn't matter. At some point in the day your account dipped to $23,750 and you lose the account. Most you should be risking is 0.5% and don't see a reason to lose 10 trades in a row in a day.

    Thanks for your review! Blue guardian is on my radar and fir now my first choice. Would you have time to review also Bespoke?

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hi FB. Bespoke was actually the other prop firm I recommended in my video here: th-cam.com/video/rWn57SdLqto/w-d-xo.html However, someone in the comments mentioned a very negative video review of Bespoke where he claims the trader hasn't been paid out even though he did everything right. Video looks legit so I took back my recommendation of them until the situation clears up.

    Prop firms are just demo accounts. But I have to pay a couple hundreds to play in a demo account, laughable.

    • @kevincortese7751
      @kevincortese7751  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The payouts are real and offer much higher potential than just trading personal capital. Prop firms aren't for everyone. Do what seems best for you.

      Most people fail challenges based on the daily drawdown, not the overall. I appreciate their Guardian feature which can keep this from happening. Yes, if you use the link, I'll receive a small referral.

      Family/friends mean well - often try to discourage you in an attempt to protect you. Have to block it all out and believe in yourself, even if it takes a year or more. It'll be worth it.
