Esfand is actually very thoughtful, he just is very bad at accepting his losses. The hate he gets is totally unwarranted because he’s no worse than anyone else he just bitches IC too much and goes full Eeyore at times.
K and Ramee spoke with 2 of the 3 owners yesterday. You would imagine that they got the ok to go ahead of this. Anyone complaining like Esfand are too invested and need to take a step back.

With no prison break mechanic, this is exactly what you're supposed to. Buddha was talking about it yesterday, there doesn't have to be a mechanic for everything to create RP. I imagine in their talk w/ owners they probably just said if you can rp your way out do it. It's not like the scene or situation was awkward, and they can just be arrested again, and repeat. This is like one of those, if you're in a big gang capable of this stuff just create the roleplay yourself type things and see what happens. There's no need for rules, ooc stuff, or mechanics as long as this stays to just for HUTs or 3 day+ sentences. If the players abuse it in the future I'm sure there'd be a rule, for now it's rp stfu and enjoy.
If they could create a mechanic where there'd be few full-time DOC workers and a prison transport from MRPD or the courthouse for years in prison, that way, the prison break mechanic would have been possible. If there is no escape for the day, they would still need to wake up the next day in a locked prison cell and notify the DOC using /311 or /411 and they would RP as normal starting a new day with a head count. If the prisoner wanted to end their day, they would have to notify the DOC worker for the purpose of doing a head count manually. The rule is that they cannot escape the prison using leave at the visitation room. For those that serving in just months, they can do the automatic /jail and leave through the visitation as normal. That is what I would do if I were the owner.
If there is an attempt to escape, solitary isolation RP would be needed for 1-2 hours as a punishment and they can try to escape again. If they are caught outside, they will still need to bring him back with the prison transport. DOC will have their work cut out, taking away the phone and they can attempt to smuggle. The prison layout is perfect for DOC and inmate.
I would create a key for different doors that has a privilege of using after earning rep like doing laundry at another location within the prison. Also creating some kind of shovel to try plan an escape would be a good experience and it's up to the guard to catch them and destroy their tunnels or patch up the wall, etc. That would be only for crims that are serving years in prison.
@@coolboarder80 that's not worth the dev work though, it's not like these kind of sentences are constantly happening like 3.0 DT charges. This is a simple, roleplayable, and something the PD can catch in different stages of the plan. Like bro, I watched a cop drive past prison and Franks blip was visible on minimap; it's just awareness. PD can stop counter it, crims have to plan, and as long as it's not abused to break your boy who got 120 months out then nothing about needs to change. It's high risk for crims like a prison break should be, it's entertaining, and it go a bunch off different ways.
I am confused by comments here. Esfand responding to braindead chatters with an actual BASED take for once. He said there is no rule against this, it's not powergaming and who cares if they are not in jail. I generally have noticed esfand change his RP in the last week and he has done a lot of RP enabling things and seems to have broken out of the funk he has been in. He was also against the crazy charges PD was going for. It has been a breath of fresh air from him tbh. Yesterday he also enabled CG to run from cops after the jail sentence was announced. This was a W.
Well, he got transferred up north and promoted; to have only three people above him, so yeah, he's probably unwound from the whole LSPD and has a better more positive outlook at the moment.

I mean if sending people to jail from the middle of the court house in the middle of a shootout is not power gaming or reviving officers on scene is not power gaming then how is what they did power gaming?, like you a magician just poofing ppl to jail from anywhere or what at least they kidnapped him bring him to a computer which makes a little bet of sense so what is people complaining about now
They act like they do this everytime CG go to prison, they obv did this because the situation they were put in… Cops wanna be shitlords then don’t complain when crims do the same… Plus it’s a game, why do you care so much that someone is legitimately in prison for days lol… 2 days is the absolute most any streamer should stay in prison, if this was a “content” server like they claim they are then they are blocking so much RP especially putting arguably the biggest streamers of NP in prison for days… Makes no sense

Funny how something CG shouldn't be allowed but everything the cops have been doing where it's powergame, Abuse their power etec it is then ok to them and it's RP deal with it.
Maybe they need to do away with some of the mechanics and have actual jailers take care of the prisoners like real world because outside you can actually have a jailbreak and inmates can escape
