I understand they want to make 4.0 last as long as possible, buit it's just getting to a point noone wants to play anymore. It's really sad to see. Admins don't really care though, let's be honest.
They already lost fan favorite James Randle. The clowns are miserable cause they can’t do their zany stuff cause of debtors prison, and the only way for crims to get certain medical equipment is to rob cops which gets them longer time in prison than if they were to just kill the cops. It’s a downward slope for sure
It won't last long if you make all the mechanics a grind and have a lack of stuff to do on it.
All people can do is do the same type of run. Weed run, jewellery run, moonshine run, grime run, g6 run etc.
Or you just sling weed on a block.
6 months into the server and still no boosting. Only heists are a Laundromat, Cash Exchange and Maze Bank. And all the hacks revolving those heists are just copy pasted minigames you can find online.
To hard-core man, they need to make it at least 50 percent less.
She gets it like all of CG end of the day it's still a game, and the laws in NP are getting out of hand.
Charges should be in city days not out of city days.

Chatterbox saw this one coming. the minute he heard the news debtor's law was implemented.
This is due to poor management. They need better admins who understand the balance needed in the server. I honestly think koil should hire some viewers to give feedback on the server issues. Sometimes it’s good to get insight from people on the outside, not the same people who have been causing problems for years.
the big problem are THE ADMINS and some of the devs THEY HATE CG PERIOD deep down they do but outside they act like angels, hypocrisy at its finest.

Its the beginning of the server, its always a grind when the server is just getting started up
Ray doesn’t understand right and that’s fine their are reason why things are the way they are. A lot of stuff she is complaining or cg is complaining about is more so design to help with certain problems the server had in 3.0. The problems are people doing wild things 24 7 meaning pd gets burned out hard because it’s a give and take situation. To reduce those high crimes they put gun charges higher ( this hasn’t fixed the issue cause people don’t understand) they made debtor prison ( this pissed people off cause they don’t understand why) and yes for bug cases that take cops 16 hours a day they are going to spend days in jail.

yes, the crim has to be punnished. So let's put a streamer, who's living is made of making content, in jail for a IRL week so he can do the same boring RP over and over again till he loses viewers. Like cg should probably have a HUT charge for this but is is not just cg this is happening to, and people who go to jail for just time have to spend ages in there. Idk I feel like going hard on CG right now makes sense… they literally killed someone then escaped jail… the attack was fine to protest the law but without consequences RP makes zero sense! I think they should just put bank balances to zero (if not enough money) serve a the time for the crimes done! Sure put consequences for CG committing terrorism, everyone and CG themselves knew there would be consequences but the issue is that the going so hard to where those involved could suffer for 400+ irl days in a boring ass prison where they lose they're mind after a day cause of nothing to do in there or not play the game for that long which is basically just a year+ ban at that point. 3-5 days would be fine bec the streamers have done it before no problem but making it over a hundred days is when they're doing wayyyy too much.

Everyone agrees with consequences, it's just about to what extent, what is sensible and what is excessive and that's a matter of opinion.
So presently the PD is pushing for 10 years in jail and 10 years on parole for all 6 members of CG that participated and roughly $750K in fines each. Knowing CG staying squeaky clean for 10 days of parole is unlikely, so potentially 2/3rds of a month in jail just from the sentence that PD wants and that isn't even talking about the severe fine combined with debtors prison. I'm also not sure if they will get time off for time served while on HUT which was roughly 3 days.
Using Dundee's numbers he said you average about $4K per hour doing prison jobs and most of CG has roughly $50K in their bank account, so the additional $700K of debt divided by 4 is 175 hours of grinding boring ass prison jobs (more hours than most people work in a month). Being that it is CG and they have people on the outside who will help them they won't actually have to do 175 hours each, but it still highlights the extreme nature of the punishment.
I'm sure in the end admins might involve themselves and push the consequences down to a more reasonable level, but I know if I was a millionaire like K, Ramee, or Valkyrae and I was told I had to grind 175 hours of prison jobs to get back to the outside world, I would quit the server on the spot and go somewhere else.
@@emmaempty they were never actually getting the 415 days. It was just the time that 9999 defaulted to because decker meta'd that their 24hr hold was over soon so he gave them the 9s. CG hadn't even been given charges yet so they couldn't even be "held until trial" they just didn't want them out of prison to actually make content for their streams. This entire thing has gone ooc at this point and if they get found guilty then I doubt we will see CG on nopixel. As soon as they are sentenced they will probably hop servers or just end stream for the day and go prodigy the next day

What pisses me off the most is Clowns being forced to grind so when they go to jail they don't have to grind even longer. Even Characters like James Randal has moved of to another server in the meantime because its impossible to play James on nopixel because of the laws.
When Spaceboy out of all people has to bring James Randall to another server, you know you're fucked. And when the Clowns are also grinding at the same time, you know you're fucked even more.

@@JennaEmbers That's a huge sign that the server is in a terrible spot. At the end of 3.0 when the server was super dry, a lot of streamers were playing more variety or other servers. You rarely saw that at the start or middle of 3.0. Now we're at the start of 4.0 and its already happening a lot.

Turning a GTA RP server into some weird Governing economic experiment/ simulator was where it went wrong for me. Entertainment for players and viewers is all that matters and should triumph over everything imo

We're discussing what makes 4.0 as of right now not very enjoyable to play consistently. I think that’s why Carmine RP’d the whole work release in sort of nudged them to escaping. Otherwise, it will be the same thing. CG takes over the prison. Another 4 hour shootout with nothing resolved. Over and over again.
Cops themselves don’t even want to do basic cop RP storylines. I mean they had Ray Mond in a cell. She was asking to be interrogated. They know she’s a known CG member couldn’t they do a 20 minute interrogation on asking about the escapers? Nope let her stand there and flirt then let her go. If they do not have money, they will be in debt as cops will send you in if you get caught. knowing how much Ls the clowns take, the cost would stack up quick. If you're in debt, they send you to prison to grind your way out of a debt. So the main question is, do you want to grind outside of jail on in jail. The obvious answer is outside of jail as you have more interaction with people.

moonmoon can fix it, but his dumba fired the only people that were DOC, they can reduce ALOT of the debt with the powers they have
in theory, it makes sense to have some sort of punishment for abusing the debt system. In practice, its been implemented and thought out very poorly.

DOJ/PD treat consequences RP as if the server is a simulator, and not a content roleplay server. No one should serve IRL weeks sitting in jail as punishment for creating roleplay by doing something crazy like shooting up a council meeting. Yes, its "realistic" to get heavy punishment for such a crime, but how much should "realism" be valued in a roleplay server?

The SUPREME OVERLORD CRANE should impose a minimum fine of 300k for shooting any council member or government employee, and 500 IRL days of imprisonment for speaking out against the laws. Valkyrie should also be banned for 30 days due to her inappropriate and terrible suggestions. You do the crime, Don't complain about the time.

You are forgetting the All Powerful Mayor Max and his Wife who rule the server and punish anyone they feel like and use their power to have their private army, LSPD, attack and detain those who even speak a word against them. lol right now it’s just getting insane what some of these characters are doing and it’s got me questioning if it’s just the character or is it the player
Because devs want to make the PD too powerful and let them get away with bad RP mistakes, locking people up for days is not RP , they didn't learn from 3.0 when pd got too strong and killed off server , yet made 4.0 the same
They actually made it worse because of debtor prison and the fact fines are just as high if not higher than 3.0, but 3.0 you could make a million a day if you tried hard enough but is impossible to do that in 4.0.

It sucks how much CG get punished and they bring more to the server than anyone else they excel not just in criminal RP but also civ RP and everywhere else like when K was doing real-estate and Ramee was a lawyer them just a whole bring so much but always seemed to get fucked over in the end
People like to say CG get special treatment in the server when in reality they often get punished the hardest for their rp. They rarely get rewarded for the rp scenarios they create while also dominating crim RP in NA. For years, CG would give an inch and the PD/DOJ would take a mile and always make an example out of them.
The whole point of 4.0 was to forget about the past in 3.0 and start new, but they can’t stop thinking of members of CG as nothing but violent crims. Part of me even wonders if they were specifically pushing CG members to become violent again to increase the amount of viewers on the server

It's not killing an officer (they respawn). The armour is a huge advantage over everyone else on the server. You CAN get them without robbing a cop

Koil, Buddha... I hope you're watching this. Don't be ignorant. Game is meant to be enjoy, not the other way round. More big streamers are gonna leave the server. Ramee, LK, Valkyrae should quit the server entirely, else these dumbass server owner and dev will still turn their eyes blind.
The big problem is debtors prison. Before that people could easily avoid the grind if they wanted to. Now you have to grind for money or you'll be put in prison and forced to grind before you can leave. They need to remove it. Keeping a way for people to pay off debt while in prison is fine, but forcing them to stay until they pay it off is punishing players OOC.
You know whats funny too? It's not even my style of RP, nor am I a part of that community. But the way VFT/BImbos basically left the server because they weren't given prio in 4.0 is crazy. They were one of the few groups left in end of 3.0 who actually created a lot of RP. Grinders were given prio before them lmao.
Spaceboy left for another server too because of how dogshit 4.0 has been.
Clowns have to grind now.
Instead of just letting them create chaos, characters like Dundee, will also have to grind a lot now to avoid debt prison.

Wuchang used to be a whole hub of RP in 3.0. Loads of artists coming together, not only doing events but also doing drama RP.
I could literally come up with 3 great ideas to create more RP on the server, but it seems so hard for NP.
People didn’t mind grinding when there was things for them to obtain. Now that most people have their houses and a couple cars, what are you grinding for anymore, a little bigger of a house? And slightly better car? For what? Then you try to create some cool, crazy RP just to get incredibly screwed over and basically told “ok you had your 15 minutes of fun allotted on the server now go sit in jail for god knows how long”
Also very true. Imagine you're a civ, what incentive do you have to keep playing after you have all of those things? 4.0 was so poorly designed
It says a lot about who's actually running the server. When people that jumped ship to onx have better train tickets than people's who stayed loyal to NP.
Fingle Dan being put in chargeof DogTown is a prime example what's wrong with NP (Came back to NP from Onx given something due to OOC friendship that others had Roleplayed months for then fucks off to a different server like a week later)

I completely agree with Valkyrae. Who wants to play a game that mimics real life and imposes real-life consequences? Spending 400 real-life days for a video game punishment is extreme. Two weeks would have sufficed. The server feels more like a career simulator or cops and robbers game now. The debtor law has stifled RP on the server, and there's even a food shortage.I don't blame Ray for finding the server boring. She put in so much effort to give the cops a new storyline with the Tyler Peters and Chatterbox situation, but they didn’t bother to investigate her or the case properly. They just threw charges on Chatterbox and sent him to jail without proper roleplay. No wonder players are feeling burned out. Valkyrae made an excellent point-what’s the point of grinding if there’s no story progression? If she buys a car or a house, then what? What are they saving for? Her point is valid. For me, the only engaging storylines keeping the server alive are the CG drama, Chattercups, and the clowns building an empire, and when that's over.... I can see another 3.0 situation...

There are only 365 days in a year (366 in a leap year). No one wants to play a game that imposes real-life consequences or mirrors real life too closely.

Sorry to say this but i think prodigy server was so much fun than nopixel 4.0 today. 4.0 was fun when it started but they are reverting back to their 3.0 habits..not an RP server but an RL simulator..

A long sentence on NP should be a day max, for very heavy crimes. While most crimes should just be an hour to 2 hours. Depending on how severe.
I've said this when I started watching NP at the start of 3.0 and never understood how insane the length of the sentences were. I like consequences and tension in RP, but they're exaggerating it. It's not fun to see any streamer in jail more than a day or longer than an hour. This literally ruins the viewer experience and content.
Its genuinely insane to me that there are sentences for more than a day. A day can be fun, with RP being built around it. ''Oh shit, I'm in jail for a long time.'' That's already grown old on day 2. While and hour or 2 in jail for ''normal crimes'' is also a massive blow because 1 to 2 hours in an 8 hour stream is a pretty large chunk.
I've said this way before the current way people are talking about it, I'm also not a CG fanboy. It just blows my mind how they ruin peoples streams. There's no content or RP in prison. Its always stale, no matter what they do with it. Nobody wants to be limited in their content. And no sane viewer wants to watch people do nothing in prison.
Those Sanguine sentences in 3.0 were also ridiculous. It was fun for a few days because there were A LOT of people online BUT then NP PD decided to snuff that RP out and blocked all the crime they were doing inside. So everyone stopped waking up. I still see Redditors reference how great that was, completely lying and ignoring the fact that PD blocked and denied RP and it caused everyone to stop waking up.
Sanguine jailtime is also not comparable because basically 30 people were thrown inside there. Thats also completley different when just 1 person gets a few days in jail or a handful of people. They just stop waking up. ''Oh play another character then.'' I swear those Redditors are dense. These streamers make money off their MAIN characters. Their views and subs dip when they play other characters. Its rare for someone to have 2 strong characters.

There is nothing wrong with a grind if it is enjoyable. Nopixel can implement these things, but they should lower the time to work off debts or even to earn money (G6, Grime, Sanitation etc...). Right now Nopixel feels and looks like an mmorpg and not a RP server.

Many people would be willing to accept the big punishment if they did this. Look at the sanguine war right many people accept their fate so it’s not like omg 3 days is bad it’s cg don’t like it so it’s bad when that’s not necessarily the case it’s good. My perspective is their should be consequences for those actions, and they should be high so people don’t do it it’s up to the court to decide that is fine and what is reasonable that’s not up to the pd. Their is no precedent they can’t go on anything the only thing they have is drug trafficking is 3/3 75k as a plea deal for a none violent hut so it has to be higher than that but by how much who knows so for a plead deal it could be 5-5 250k plus the other fines they don’t know. No one knows what is reasonable and arguing and complaining by one group isn’t that doesn’t see the other side of how much work these cases are is fucked. So both sides just need to respect each other and not hate something when it’s dumb

There is so much other laws you can make and ways to go about it. This is like soft banning players. Ask the players who play and do these things how to go about it, there can be consequences in many other ways, like the way you can't spam banks, make it the same for loot boxing a cop, if that's the biggest problem etc. The point of rp server is to have fun.
Unfortunately, 90%+ of the people who play NP benefit because people naturally watch more NP RP streamers than other Rp servers, I assume most of em are making a living playing gta v😂 So leaving the MAIN server because of a few shitty laws and the Debt System... it would hurt they're growth as an streamer/influencer... most these guys dont have literal irl Orgs to fall back on if the shit they're doing now doesn't work..
Also I understand its bs being charged literal days for committing crime in an rp server however, that shit has created SOOOOOO much rp... From when K was doing his property shit and got fked over by Slacks to fast forwarding a few months and the City Hall was shot up, all the rp in that timeframe is arguably unmatched, its mostly fucking amazing imo
It’s been genuinely sad seeing the direction of the server negatively impact everyone. It discourages everyone from RP, everyone.
They are lost in the sauce because whoever is pulling the strings wants to make a ''realistic role playing server'' out of it. While the majority of us viewers want to be entertained. I like storylines, but I also like action. Viewcounts go up with wars, chases, heists, shootouts etc. Not with cops stacking or cops going to pings or watching crims inside prison. Viewcounts go down when people go to prison or grind.
The problem with 4.0 as a whole is that it stops being fun when you pull the curtain back all the way. It's not fun for Cop Rp, because you had the DAP system and lost your job with possible jail time (Cornwood/Esfan is both a victim and a problem outside of this). It's not fun for Crim RP with everything going on right now and being forced to grind (actions should have consequences, but there should be a balance to those consequences). It's not fun for Civ RP because it probably gets repetitive to grind all day every day, only to get scuffed jobs (tow truck) or scuffed cars (Yuno's nerfed car) on a good day to get robbed/killed by a crim on a bad day. It's even more messed up when you have these 3 groups interact with each other: cop protects civ to do their job, crim rolls up to yell at cop then headshots them because they're protecting the civ while the civ is on the job. There should be an admin in each camp that checks their side while balancing the other sides to keep things fair.
Also, why is Lang Buddha being blamed for anything? He doesn't own the server, he's not actively trying to screw CG as an admin, he's not even doing active gang stuff. He's just minding his own business and still gets shot down for simply existing (Listen, I'm saying this because people are blaming him thinking he's the owner, I don't 100% know if this man does anything besides yell and he's not my favorite RP to watch, but it needs to be clarified that he may not have much power to fix the state of things).

I agree, but I hope nobody is targeting MoonMoon/Max OOCly for any of the issues with CG, because he is only doing what he is guided and told is how the system works or can work. He was basically new to the whole thing entirely having played a big crim for years before coming back, so anything he is doing or learned is from Crane and other mods or outside admins. I think it falls more of them than anyone else to fix this shit.

Honestly, the saddest part is that the NoPixel management team is just using the name to make money off of the server's former position as standing above the rest of the servers due to high quality, next level dev work, and a mostly solid player whitelist.
It has lost all of that, but they still want to pretend otherwise so that people keep giving them money.
It has less features, is more buggy, has worse mechanics, no businesses, no dev support for players, awful vehicles, completely imbalanced, no worthwhile crime, selective enforcement of rules and in-game laws, out of touch management, etc. etc. etc. compared to pretty much any random off the shelf server that is slapped together with publicly available mods and a team that cares.
Well said. It's so obvious now with how Prodigy was run when cg was there. They were so in tune with the rp community. Weekly livestreams from ravage keeping everyone up to date, constant updates, listening to the players and streamers. Somewhere along the way NoPixel lost the plot

Nopixel needs way more RP content and their brilliant ideas were to force players to Grind RP, Prison RP, or Hospital RP.
Food is overpriced and barely fills you up, vehicles break way too ez. Once CG+ leaves again its all over without a big 4.0 update to bring them back. These "monthly" updates were highly disappointing. Most of these problems could be easily improved in a day by changing a few numbers around but they would rather lose content creators and viewers.
