Hey Jeff, have you heard of the giant pools of Mercury found under ancient sites? I'd like to Socratic Method a conclusion here. Knowing that mercury dissolves gold, what would be the best way to keep your gold from thieves? There's several benefits to hiding gold in mercury from the ancients perspective. Laymen wouldn't know how to process it, it'd be harder to carry, it's vapor is poisonous and more. My point being that perhaps the mercury pools under these sites might really be bank vaults of sorts.
All I can say is eat breakfast before doing this.... Smells like making hash potatoes, just add salt and get all the gold your body needs today!
We use to break open glass thermometers in the early 70s and play with mercury. It was a blast, and I'm 59 and fine.

The first time my dad ever took me gold panning in the Sierra, we were on a bar right down from an old gold camp. My results were about a teaspoon of mercury. I used to have that in an old style glass pill bottle. But it disappeared over the years and miles. Now you have me wondering what else might have been in that mercury.

I worked for an aerospace company, and we had a plating division on site, that used all kinds of chemicals. We had nitric acid, cyanide, and everything else in the book. That was very cool to see! Gold right now is $2507 an ounce… unbelievable!⛏️⛏️⛏️💯💯💯
