Lots of these planes are from World War 2, 4:53 German model of the Me 163 or the Japanese Ki-200. I call it the nugget; it was suppose to be a komet not a jet, goes very high altitudes going straight up that’s why it takes off very quickly. Has very little fuel.

As I remember it was 8, but it wasn't meant to be flying long. The general idea was that you accelerated like a bat out of hell and climbed at a high angle of ascent and then you'd be just about out of fuel and a lot more maneuverable and less combustible when you started slinging 30mm cannon rounds at B-17's. Meanwhile, their fighter escorts would be shitting themselves trying to get a firing solution on you.

Rhys Thomas actually the hydra has what's called "STOVL" short take off vertical landing. Either way it took off it should have been first because of it's short take off capabilities

And arround 2 seconds to shift bethween modes

That isn’t exactly true, while it can get off the ground that fast switching back into jet and flying off would be slower. It can’t exactly lift off and switch back without touching the ground that fast.

For people looking for best buy for fastest 2 seater planes, I've concluded: Seabreeze for best value, with bonus option to bomb+gun (0.85 million + 0.40 million); Rogue if you want armor and full offense array (homing missiles, explosive cannon, bombs) (2 million); Pyro if you're rich or want the best/hardest dogfighter in the game.

If you look closely, he’s screwing with the elevators you can see them moving. Like I said before my comment disappeared, you have to many errors in this. Either it’s hard to measure which plane is the fastest. You’ve equipped human error into this. You need to fly it to a point and not touch it.

The pyro, Howard and Alpha-Z1 are fastest planes in terms of top speed. Seabreeze and Hydra have same top speed.

Well the Bombushka flies between 65mph and 80mph and having the landing gear out - unlike most aircraft - doesn't affect it or slow it down... it'd still be in last place.

I found this glitch with the ultralight where if you fly to the top of the map and dive whilst slowly pulling up you can reach speeds of up to 500knots in game, that's almost 2.5x faster than the laser.
You forgot to fully upgrade them. My Rogue doesnt take that much to takr off it's only like 5 sec!:(

The issue I have with this test is that alot of the newer aircraft can be modded with engine en handling upgrades.
Giving them better take-off speed. Also the Starling has a booster upgrade. That way you can fire the booster for much longer.
Also if you are flying the Starling and need more boost. Fire the missles or the machine guns!

Decent test, thanks. Now go back and do them all again with engine upgrades ;). Maybe if you're in single player using mods, it'd be best to disable the turbulence for an even thorough test.
Would also be interested to see which ones the fastest at "low altitude" (below 900ft or so in-game) as planes have a limiter affecting them at low altitudes.

Stability is not necessarily a bad or good thing in itself. You want a stunt plane and a fighter plane to be really unstable, because that means it's more maneouvrable. A passenger or sports plane however should be really stable so you don't have to forcibly keep it stable all the time
