I'm astonished that there's no love for 00 mobile suits on this list. They deserve much more than honorable mentions. I watched 00 before I watched any UC Gundam shows and nothing in UC could live up to the sheer awesomeness of the Raiser imo. I do love how you've placed the ZZ so high on this list though. It was by far my fav UC show and the ZZ Gundam is so damn cool for all the reasons you mentioned
I don’t even have words to describe how bad of a take it is to say that the Raiser is an “awesome “ Mobile Suit omfg you need to watch more Gundam if that’s your genuine opinion
@@chrischecketts8792 Raiser is objectively one of the most powerful suits in all of Gundam that ain't even an opinion lol. It's capabilities far surpass pretty much any suit aside from perhaps its own successor the Qan T and the Unicorn. Now I haven't seen Seed and don't particularly want to so I don't know how it stacks up against the more advanced Freedom suits or anything (I'm guessing that suit is OP), but last I checked the ability to quantize through enemies and chop space stations in half with your energy weapon is pretty unparalleled.
@@chrischecketts8792 even from a pure design perspective it is one of the most sleek and sexy mobile suits in Gundam and to try to say it is ugly or lame you would obviously have some poor taste in mecha design and probably think the only valid mobile suit designs are the RX-78 and the Zeta, or something.
As a note, I'd actually suggest that with the RX-78-2, while Master Grades are awesome, the Full Weapons Entry Grade is one that I'd put as the best starting point for Gunpla at the moment (Though I prefer the American Type colors) And for the Heavyarms Custom... the IGEL unit is just insane though loses the maneuverability that Trowa always was showing off. But it's hilarious that the main thing with Trowa in upgrading that thing is adding even more guns...which is also shows in the scene with Trowa in a Serpent as his custom one also has doubled guns With the Tallgeese, the Zi-Long and Flugel are also great versions of the design...though I have some issues with the Flugel because Katoki went nuts in retcon mode for the manga. The Zi-Long is one of the cool new suits for Episode 0 and shows why the thing is so dangerous to its pilots. And the Original reason the Tallgeese 3 had a zero system is one that was recovered from the Wing Gundam Seraphim following Tiel's Impulse with the wing systems and Zero upgrades being where the majority of the Wing Gundam Zero Custom/EW's wing system came from. I still wish that they'd actually produced the OZMPMS Suits from Tiel's Impulse. There is also a pretty cool and rather simple tutorial for using the old HGFA/NG Tallgeese kits in conjunction with the HGAC Leo to make a really cool HG Tallgeese. Another thing that I kind of wish is that there would be an actual answer about the blue oni to Epyon's red oni...Gundam Aquarius which is designed entirely to brutalize mobile dolls. But with Epyon, I think there were other things with it because by the end of Gundam Wing, that thing had the head vulcans added in just like the other Gundams do. As a side note, if you like the Sazabi, you'll really love the Nightengale...because dear lord the novel versions of Char uses that as his final suit with Amuro in the Hi-Nu. There's also the new ff version for the Sazabi and Nu. Oh, for the Zero system, it's pretty much confirmed that it's a full on AI as of the abomination that is Wing Gundam Lucifer which started puppeting it's pilot. Also the Zero system recovered from the Wing Zero for the Wing Gundam Snow White rejected anyone else as a pilot other than Heero

I always found the Destiny Gundam to be the best jack of all trades. It has PS armour, anti beam shield, mirage collode wings of light, a beam sabre, a massive anti ship sword, a beam rifle, a massive beam cannon, beam boomerangs and a palm cannon thing. What more could you want

The MG Gundam 3.0 was made to resemble the old Gundam statue that was where the Unicorn is now. The RG was tyled after the same statue and the 3.0 is just a modified 2.0 iirc. Kinda wish i had the 2.0 instead so he matched the G-3 and Proto but bought all three together and didn't realise until too late
I got the RX-93 as my first gundam model kit for Christmas two years ago, but it’s not the most sturdy in my opinion. To be fair, my dad bought it for me, and didn’t know that easier kits existed for beginners.
for me (just top 3-5) ●UC ○Gundam type --Nu Gundam --Hi-Nu Gundam --Zeta Gundam ○Visor type(Gm Family) --Jegan Type D --Jesta --GM Spartan --GM Striker --Powered GM ○Mono-eye type --Sazabi(except for the cockpit position, I'd love it more if it's in the chest instead of head) --Geara Zulu --Zaku F2 --Zudah ●CE ○Gundam type --Strike Freedom --Astray Goldframe (Hana)(the white armor one) --Astray Blueframe second --Destiny ○Visor type --none(dagger and windam don't slap me enough) ○Mono-eye type --Zaku Phantom/Warrior --Cerberus Bucue Hound(black one in Stargazer) --Guaiz
I love crossbone Gundam. I really hope it’s get an anime or OVA adaptation. Also, one of my favorite mobile suit is Infinite Justice. I love the beam emitters on the legs, the backpack, and versatile shield.
To me the Gundam Thrones from Gundam 00 are my favorite overall design for any Gundam mecha, I just loved their slim look, red particle effects, and their red/black beam weapons. My Top 5. 1. Gundam Throne Eins (Just love the giant shoulder mounted cannon and its black) 2. Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex (Love the feral claws and the remote tail blade) 3. Gundam Banshee (I'm a sucker for black gundams and this one has serious armory of weapons) 4. Gundam Deathscythe EW (Another black gundam but this one has bat wings and a giant beam scythe) 5. Gundam Epyon (Turns into a twin-headed dragon, has a heated whip, and a giant beam sword)
Wasn’t the sazabi designed by reverse engineering the moon Gundam they stole? I just remember hearing that somewhere but can’t find the manga to confirm it
While my favourite RX will always be Unicorn, my second favourite is the Palerider. I only start thinking about the RX-78s after those 2 much as i love the Granddaddy.
I totally agree with this man But how i wish there is a master grade version of the wing zeeo tv version. Proto Zero i great yes but it would be a more nostalgic feel and satisfaction if they would make that thing on plastic and throw in their own preference of sleekness.
you are right about forgetting other weapons on the crossbone x1 full cloth. the buster gun can figure mini rockets like a grenade launcher as well as mini nukes and the front skirt hooks the scissor anchors are perfect for the kratos impressions but yhe back skirts contaim the screw whip an extendable whip with a drill bit 9n the end. and how do you now talk about thw wicked face scars on and mouth vents look like fangs when opended to dispel heat.
The ZERO system is pretty cool, but it's not the first time it's been done. I mean, there's the EXAM system, the biosensor, the NT-D, Invoke, hell, even Amuro's original gundam had a pretty spiffy leanring computer... though, it didn't really go anywhere with ti really... Ugh.
My favorite line of mobile suits have to be the Delta Gundam line and it's offshoots, in my opinion the best looking design lineage in Gundam, sleek and powerful design plus I think the ones that do transform have the best wave-rider modes. Yes I know it's 11 with this the other 10 are interchangeable in how I like them. The rest are in no particular order Jesta/Jesta Cannon Jegan and all its variants. Gouf Custom Zaku 1 Sniper Ground Gundam / Ez-8 ReZel line Dom line Geara Doga/Geara Zulu Bawoo Byarlant especially the Custom
Just UC Zaku 2 (all variants) for me Hope they give new upgrade UC Zaku 2 with more modern and beam weapons like GM and no more tube all around (legs, head and torso)
Those are some very good mobile suit choices my dude. I'm especially loving the Tallgeese, Epyon, ZZ, Nu Gundam, and Wing Zero on your lists as those MS are on my list too. Speaking of which.... 10) RX-78-2 Gundam (Always gotta put grandpappy Gundam on the list lest ye turn in your Gundam fan card) 9) God Gundam (One of the very Gundam designs that heavily inspired my favorite mecha of all times, Weltall Id from Xenogears) 8) Gerbera Tetra (The closest Zeon ever got to having its own Gundam) 7) GP03 Dendrobium/Stamen (Not just a badass mobile suit design, but an entire arsenal platform with all sorts of missles, beam cannons, and shit) 6) Tallgeese (A design while elegant is also quite metal as fuck) 5) Epyon (THAT MS is most certainly METAL AS FUCK) 4) Zeta (Such a classic design that while copying Macross' homework still has that Gundam tang we all know and love) 3) ZZ (Now THAT THING is all sorts of METAL AS FUCK with it armed to the teeth and loaded for bear weaponry) 2) Wing Zero (2nd greatest Gundam design if you ask me) 1) Nu/Hi-Nu Gundam (It's Japan's most popular Gundam for a very very VERY good reason)
I know you dont like Sinanju but i still love it even its Char Cosplay....i love the design its more slick and menacing than Nu-Gundam and Sazabi....this make me change my relationship for likIng the gundams to non gundam MS....even Geara Zulu is a downgrade Doga i still love it I also do costum color un Sinanju, turning Red to Navy Blue
That was kind of predictable. Very popular picks. My favorites from each animated series: Gouf Gouf Custom Palace Athene Quinn Mantha Phenex Heavyarms Forbidden SF Reborns Zabanya Legillis Kimaris Vidar Aerial For unmentioned my pick is the late game titular suit. My personal favorites are Heavyarms Kai EW, SF and Unicorn
I do like the Gundam Xi design as well, even without the weapons, the Gundam itself looks amazing. It looks like a Kaiju, a monster that Zeon would fear
I think you're the first to say the Gundam ZZ is one of your favorite shows of all time which in my opinion is the worst and not a typical Gundam show because when I see Gundam I think of the serious dark action military tone not a parody series😂 lol.
This list is a very mainstream list, was expecting some unique picks, but this literally just the MC and villain MS from the main UC era series (2000s and earlier) and G Wing- some of my favorite and unique choices would have been the Delta Kai, the Penelope/Xi Gundam, Moon Gundam, the Crossbone Gundams

So happy to see tallgeese

I love crossbone Gundam. I really hope it’s get an anime or OVA adaptation. Also, one of my favorite mobile suit is Infinite Justice. I love the beam emitters on the legs, the backpack, and versatile shield.
To me the Gundam Thrones from Gundam 00 are my favorite overall design for any Gundam mecha, I just loved their slim look, red particle effects, and their red/black beam weapons.
My Top 5.
1. Gundam Throne Eins (Just love the giant shoulder mounted cannon and its black)
2. Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex (Love the feral claws and the remote tail blade)
3. Gundam Banshee (I'm a sucker for black gundams and this one has serious armory of weapons)
4. Gundam Deathscythe EW (Another black gundam but this one has bat wings and a giant beam scythe)
5. Gundam Epyon (Turns into a twin-headed dragon, has a heated whip, and a giant beam sword)
I am surprised the Raphael was not mentioned
I had my owen version of wing zero using wing gundam ew called wing zero lighting
what are your feelings on ibo?
I did an entire vid on it, actually. It's called "The Idiot Plot Done right." Feel free to check it out!
Wasn’t the sazabi designed by reverse engineering the moon Gundam they stole? I just remember hearing that somewhere but can’t find the manga to confirm it
I get almost "Spawn" vibes from the Zeta Gundam.... Makes me wanna watch zeta next lol
GREEN BAWOO BEST MS
not in order
strike
freedom
wing zero custom
epyon
deathscythe hell
Hi-Nu
Gouf Custom
Barbatos (all forms)
sazabi
Kyshatria
Sinanju
I always thought the fin funnel sheild was something like a beam sheild instead of an i field
While my favourite RX will always be Unicorn, my second favourite is the Palerider. I only start thinking about the RX-78s after those 2 much as i love the Granddaddy.
love to see the psp games not all really feature those games
ZZ Gundam is also my favorite 😅
I totally agree with this man
But how i wish there is a master grade version of the wing zeeo tv version.
The rest are in no particular order
Jesta/Jesta Cannon
Jegan and all its variants.
Gouf Custom
Zaku 1 Sniper
Ground Gundam / Ez-8
ReZel line
Dom line
Geara Doga/Geara Zulu
Bawoo
Byarlant especially the Custom
Spoilers
The transition from Epyon to Crossbone made my heart sing
The Real Grade Epyon is rather epic, if you are space limited
Good list, but im curius to see your top Mobil Suits that arent gundams. like mass produced ones.
You seem to like gundam wing quite a bit.
For me, it's the RX-77-2 Guncannon. The best mobile suit.
Just UC Zaku 2 (all variants) for me
Hope they give new upgrade UC Zaku 2 with more modern and beam weapons like GM and no more tube all around (legs, head and torso)
Those are some very good mobile suit choices my dude. I'm especially loving the Tallgeese, Epyon, ZZ, Nu Gundam, and Wing Zero on your lists as those MS are on my list too. Speaking of which....
10) RX-78-2 Gundam (Always gotta put grandpappy Gundam on the list lest ye turn in your Gundam fan card)
9) God Gundam (One of the very Gundam designs that heavily inspired my favorite mecha of all times, Weltall Id from Xenogears)
8) Gerbera Tetra (The closest Zeon ever got to having its own Gundam)
7) GP03 Dendrobium/Stamen (Not just a badass mobile suit design, but an entire arsenal platform with all sorts of missles, beam cannons, and shit)
6) Tallgeese (A design while elegant is also quite metal as fuck)
5) Epyon (THAT MS is most certainly METAL AS FUCK)
4) Zeta (Such a classic design that while copying Macross' homework still has that Gundam tang we all know and love)
3) ZZ (Now THAT THING is all sorts of METAL AS FUCK with it armed to the teeth and loaded for bear weaponry)
2) Wing Zero (2nd greatest Gundam design if you ask me)
1) Nu/Hi-Nu Gundam (It's Japan's most popular Gundam for a very very VERY good reason)
The sinanju stein is a head swap away from being a gundam
i plan to buy a grandpa gunpla 3.0 although i can only afford a knock off though. the gunpla prices are WAAAY too high right now.
To get a master grade, Heavyarms Custom [EW] from P-Bandai is in itself an act of god. Amazon has a few but has jacked up the price way too high.
I know you dont like Sinanju but i still love it even its Char Cosplay....i love the design its more slick and menacing than Nu-Gundam and Sazabi....this make me change my relationship for likIng the gundams to non gundam MS....even Geara Zulu is a downgrade Doga i still love it
I also do costum color un Sinanju, turning Red to Navy Blue
me everytime i hear the word "Tallgeese": It's a bird
Rose Gundam and dragon Gundam has the best designs
That was kind of predictable. Very popular picks.
My favorites from each animated series:
Gouf
Gouf Custom
Palace Athene
Quinn Mantha
Phenex
Heavyarms
Forbidden
SF
Reborns
Zabanya
Legillis
Kimaris Vidar
Aerial
For unmentioned my pick is the late game titular suit. My personal favorites are Heavyarms Kai EW, SF and Unicorn
I wish I had the space here to convey how much hate I got for not liking Destiny seed
The kashatriya...?
You mean "THAT GOD DAMN QUAD-WING!"?
This might sound stupid to others but Gundam Xi looks good in my opinion (Giant Dorito)
Gundam Xi has by far the best silhouette out of all Gundams, to me at least
I do like the Gundam Xi design as well, even without the weapons, the Gundam itself looks amazing. It looks like a Kaiju, a monster that Zeon would fear
Nah where's the Turn A?
I think you're the first to say the Gundam ZZ is one of your favorite shows of all time which in my opinion is the worst and not a typical Gundam show because when I see Gundam I think of the serious dark action military tone not a parody series😂 lol.
Seriously no gundam seed ms lol
"...anditsnamewasepyon"
Cool list Micah.
My top 10 are these…
1. Nu/Hi-Nu Gundam
2. 00 Quanta Full Saber Gundam
3. Zeta Gundam
4. Xi Gundam (movie)
5. Wing Gundam (EW version)
6. Sazabi
7. Delta Plus
8. Gundam AERIal Rebuild
9. Banshee
10. ExS Gundam
Honorable Mentions:
OG Gundam, Strike Noir, Destiny Gundam, GNX 4, Gundam Astray Gold Frame Mina, Wing Zero and Tallgeese 3.
Please do a video essay on top ten knightmare frames from code geass😊😅🎉😂❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Gouf custom on the honorable mention….BOOOOO 😂
This list is a very mainstream list, was expecting some unique picks, but this literally just the MC and villain MS from the main UC era series (2000s and earlier) and G Wing- some of my favorite and unique choices would have been the Delta Kai, the Penelope/Xi Gundam, Moon Gundam, the Crossbone Gundams
Quebeley doesn’t use bits. They use funnels.
Nu Gundam is designed to be compatible with him and his powers.
Wing Zero is designed to have pilot compatible with it and its powers.
I can't put in words how much I despise Gundam wing 😩
I shall pray that at some point you gain taste.
@@BigMicahC never. There's only UC Gundam for me. The rest shall not exist 😌
@@bamhamerthat’s the first Gundam experience for a lot of people including myself and from design to story it’s a top tier Gundam show. If you haven’t given it a watch in a few years I’d really recommend going back and rewatching it, you might just have your mind changed watching it again with a new perspective brought on by a few years
@@chrischecketts8792 nah sorry. Only universal century Gundam for me. I'm into sci-fi but not into this fantasy stuff gundam wing introduced.
I understand the hesitation and I agree the U.C. is the best. I will say though that if you stay only in the U.C. then you will be missing some truly great Gundam series even if it isn’t as “Gundam” as the U.C. is like Iron Blooded Orphans, Wing and Turn A and After X all fantastic series that every Gundam fan should have the privilege of watching. U.C. is the OG and the best century but lots of good Gundam to explore when you’re feeling the itch for a new series to watch.
My top 3 is probably lame compared to yours lmao
Get your audio together
The audio is fine on this one. Get better ears.
@@BigMicahC 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Obviously, you a WING Fan.
Pathetic.
Not my fault that Wing is better than the rest of the AU stories. Though G Gundam and IBO are right there. 00 is overrated and Seed sucks. So does WFM.
@@BigMicahC Wing is The Gundam Version of My Little Pony and Friends or The Care Bears.
It is your fault. Most probably, you are a Big Fan of Boy Bands.
Imagine a Gundam that has the image of an Angel(?).
Them Wing kits are some of the MOST Stupidly designed Mechas!
The Anime is for Retards!
I have more than 400 Kits and 160 of them are Master Grades.
I didn't even bother purchasing any of Them PATHETIC Wing Kits!!!!!!
........except for the Heavyarms. I have it in all existing versions😅
I know seed isn't the best but the Freedom series is top tier. 🥲
