- This video is about central Africa's booming cities in 2019. These are the cities to watch out for if you're an investor or businessman that's ready to tap into the central African market.
Brazzaville is the political and administrative capital of the Republic of Congo. It was also the capital of free France from 1940 to 1942. The city has a population of more than 1.9 million inhabitants and a density of 6, 963 pers./km2. Their official language is French, they use the central African franc. Brazzaville is investing heavily in its road and bridge infrastructure.
Pointe-Noire is the economic capital of the Republic of Congo, located in the extreme south of the country. With more than 1.1 million inhabitants in the agglomeration, Pointe-Noire has become a full-fledged department. Oil activity continues to be the main sector of the Pontenegrin economy. However, the city has been experiencing a real-estate boom in the past five years.
Libreville, the political capital of Gabon, is the first city of the country in number of inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 750,000 in 2017. Gabon’s national language is French. The Librevillois, as they’re called, enjoy a GDP per capita equal to 20,000 US dollars. They use the central African franc, capped at a two percent inflation rate. The city is undergoing a major makeover with the creation of a new business district on the artificial peninsula named La Baie Des Rois. The first skyscrapers are expected to rise this summer, while the overall project is set to be completed by 2025.
Luanda is the capital of the lusophone country of Angola. With a population of 7.4 million inhabitants, it is the main economic center of the country and concentrates tertiary and industrial activities. Since 2002, thanks to the civil peace found and the oil money from offshore deposits located near the capital, it has experienced a particularly significant growth in construction. The local currency is the Kwanza.

In this video, we are talking about booming cities. you are completely off topic but for your information, I do not take into account beautiful skyscrapers to decide if a country is developed or not. It would be absurd to limit oneself to architectural works. Many factors are taken into account when measuring a country's development. Among them, the country's income, GNP per capita, education level, HDI (human development index), birth and death rates, life expectancy, infrastructure ...Now let me enjoy watching Africa most beautiful capitals and I think you should do the same.
@@eCelia08 I am clearly on the track. Go and check the topic. They said booming city. What does booming city means to you? However the country economies can be booming but also lock of infrastructure for instance nigeria has a high GDP in africa. Therefore they are not on the top 10 developed countries in the continent. This video doesn't really have a narrator to it. But in terms of economy in central Africa Guinea equatorial comes first. Also I think angola is not part of central africa. Maybe the editor made a mistake.

Libreville de 2019 arrive avec beaucoup d'ambitions,j'y été en janvier de cette année, plusieurs projets arrêtés avec la crise reprennent. La ville dispose d'un Atout énorme la mer et son île au large de ses côtes... Ça promet.
La baie de libreville est juste woahh! Libreville est la futur capitale de l'Afrique centrale.

The cities are clean, organized and look gorgeous... But how is service delivery? Is there load shedding for electricity? Is water available 24/7 in all areas or only for a few hours during the day? Is there garbage collection or do you have to dispose of your own waste? What is the health care like for average citizens? What is public transportation like? And how varied is the job market?
Depends on where you stay, if you are in a nice apartment all those things will be taken care of and you are certain to have excellent electricty and water.

one part of Angola is in central Africa and the other part is in southern Africa
Luanda is in central Africa. Luanda, in terms of culture, architecture, etc, is more similar to a city like Pointe-Noire than it is to any southern African city. Southern Angola is a different story.
