.... you are definitely making progress and spirits are high, all good things ..... Warren, how are you whiling away the time, you hold the camera and show the others occupying their time, curious, you are always on the move, not one for sitting still .. smilin ... for some reason I thought you had in your toy selection one of those, at the end of a rope two wings/panels that are on a rod and with a hand on each you pivot these up and down to determine your depth, they move independently so you can steer/ corkscrew ... hope this describes what is in my mind ... great to see you all having a blast ..... thx for sharing .... as always ... never quit dreaming, just dream bigger ... have fun be safe, save our oceans ....
Another great episode. It’s great to see all the aspects of an ocean crossings. Very jealous, especially with those sunsets!! Keep them coming guys. Thanks as always
The quality of your film has gotten quite professional. You must be using those Hollywood movie star type cameras these days. Big smile. The way you have been documenting your Pacific crossing, so smooth and easy, makes me feel like I am actually on the boat with you. In fact, I lost myself several time this morning, haven forgotten that I am not on the Pacific ocean, but in fact, sitting in my office in my cotton, leopard skin design PJ bottoms, (old rockers never grow up). Most importantly, you four look like your really having a lot of fun, and the brownies look magical. Stay groovy and stay safe.
Wow I absolutely loved that sun set. I look forward so much every week for the next video i can't believe fishing is that bad out there i guess the fish is real deep? Great ending with that sun set thanks. I could do the sailing thing but my wife won't get in a row boat lol. Oh know this week is over crap now what do i do for the rest of the week. See you next week happy sailing be safe.
Haha thanks OCTW! Cheers to you both, glad we could keep you entertained!! And as always, we really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!!
So true, 8 knots is flying to some and slow to others, wish we did those 10s & 12s but it’s just not likely on our comfort cat... we do a lot of 5s & 6s so 8 is mooooving LOL
If you use a silver and blue or green "spoon" you will get the flash you need and the blue and or green looks like most fish in the ocean. Most of all the bait fish or smaller fish has these colors. Next trick take a stiff wire about three feet long and bend it in a V and every 3 to 6 inches tie lines verying 6 inches to three feet long . And put Lures on each one. Like squid or a father tipe lure on it. It will attract more fish to your lure. In the water it will look like a small school of bait fish. So keep having fun out there and until next week, Aloha from your friends on the Big Island of Hawaii!
Ohhh MAN we are doing that!! Never heard of that before but man does it make sense!! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment about that, great pointer!
@@WEsail any time. Hope ya'll come back to the Big Island again someday. Maybe we will have more ribs or maybe pulled pork. Aloha from your friends on the Big Island. P.s. If you need more Instruction on how to make that just let me know. Maybe a live talk or chat thing.
Karson Winslow 15 minutes ago Hey! Just a quick note for your bird comment. Yes birds pooping on the boat at sea is very annoying. The judgement of birds for finding land depends on the species of birds. Some birds spend their entire life at sea, so looking for just birds doesn’t quantify distance to land. Check out how cool sea birds are! They drink sea water and secrete the salt through ducts in their eyes! Happy sailing!
Interesting -- QUESTION -- If you got stuck in the "dulldroms" in a worse case 1,000 mile calm, could your Cat motor the entire 1,000 miles? How much fuel would that take at its most effecient speed?
On sea birds I am told that ancient sailors would watch the nesting birds late in the afternoon get up, and fly toward their island nest. Then they would fallow them to land.
*I was looking at the prop on your dinghy ... You know it's better to polish it with a buffer than polish it in sand on the beach.* (just testing your sense of humor)

A frase "Sailing...........Marquesas" passou muito rápido. Não da tempo de ler. Poderia passar mais devagar.
