Another informative tour of the Azimut 53 fly jack, I personally prefer shaft driven boats but that's not to say that IPS boats don't have their uses. For someone who's not overly competent with stern to berthing this IPS version is made for that person as it's a breeze to do it, and yes a third driving station in the cockpit is a "must!"
Really great quality audio of the presenter! I'd still prefer a little less "hard" tone in it. And the ambient sound is a bit less optimal since I'm guessing you're only using the lav mic. To be absolutely 10/10 in audio an ambient sound mic would let us hear the sound levels and tones even better. But these are of course comments in reference to professional high-budget full production levels! Naturally more than what you're using now wouldn't be practical or financially sustainable. My main point was to say how brilliant your audio is! And now come to think of it why limit my comment to audio when clearly your video is excellent as well! Best praise is usually when you don't notice it = no flaws! You clearly have perfect lenses in use as you have the best wide angle I've seen in boat review videos, and little to no fisheye effect. You really get everything into frame amazingly well, just outstanding!
Thank you for taking the time to write this comment. We take pride in our production quality so this is very rewarding to read. Shout out to camera man, Ed, for the quality of the shots 💪 - Jack
Great tour. Very informative. As for the boat, it's a nice enough stylish boat but they cut quite a few corners and as you rightly said there are many alternatives out there to consider.
Great review (as always) of a beautiful looking boat. I love that you actually drive the boats and also point out the good and bad points. I am surprised boats like this don't make more use of external cameras - the limited view of the back of the boat from the helm could be easily sorted with a single or double rear mounted camera linked to the nav screens. Four cameras would give the Birds Eye view a lot of cars have now which would make manoeuvring really really safe and simple on a boat like this.
I must say having no side windows for ventilation and the outside driving position on the lower helm would be a deal breaker for me. Princess f55 would be my choice.
The Azimut name alone denotes quality, especially in the visual realm, but this one, to me, presents itself as a lukewarm collaboration with the Prestige brand. The captain sitting at a hot helm station with not so much as a window to open, much less a door? I'm finding nothing special about this one. 😕 The review on the other hand is top notch!
FYI I gave it a like because I enjoyed it 🤪. It's not often I like Italian design and style but I like this one, very smart but I'd go without the hard top. 👍❤️🇬🇧
Great video as always! I think Princess and Sunseeker Yachts are made a lot better than Azimuts. Never jumped on board a Fairline… As for other Italian brands, also Ferretti, Absolute and Cranchi (maybe) are better boats. Thanks Jack!
I've always wondered how bespoke these yachts are truly are. I'd be very interested in a 50 foot flybridge like a Princess F50 with aft galley, full size fridge, pilot side door (which none of them have), and most importantly, a tender garage even if it means sacrificing the seating at the aft of the boat. None of them like Princess, Sunseeker, Azimut etc do 50 footers with tender garage, so I've been curious if its totally off the books or could a 3rd party fiberglass shop make it happen?
If you're willing to pay, most things are possible but that is a lot of work for a third party to carry out. There are boats in the sector with a tender garage, such as the Galeon 500 Fly - Jack
Great video. But the interior design leaves me cold. Too many interior details seem to be squeezed into spaces as an after thought. Still, great video.
Lack of natural ventilation is a big mistake. I think the Absolute Fly 52 or 56 are far superior boats in this class. Followed closely by Princess and Fairline - and Galeon are making interesting alternatives. This boat is too flawed, even the internal finishing is dull by modern standards.

Your detail reviews both on TH-cam and especially on the site of the links are my favorite always, thanks.
Great to hear! 😃
Excellent camerawork, narration and editing. Superb review of a very attractive vessel.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it 😊
Top notch review with usual excellent production. Thanks Jack and team!
Thanks 🙏
A beautiful yacht, really like everything about it. Great tour and sea trial Jack thank you.
Glad you liked it, Sean, cheers! - Jack

Different, I think Nick got himself finally UK competition 👍🏻💪🏻
Kind of you to say so, thanks - Jack
As always, a superb, detailed and honest review Jack, many thanks. Personally I’d rather go for a Princess but without doubt this is a nice craft 🙏
Thanks Nick, appreciate that feedback - Jack

How much would it cost to cut out a window slot and install a window hatch?
Nice boat, but it’s the Absolute for me.
Really good video, though. Liking the evolution.
Thank you 🙏
Nice to see a helm that caters for left-handers for once.
🤝

Great quality presentation.
Thank you kindly!

Jack if you were buying a fly cruiser in the 50-56 foot range what would you buy and why as there is a lot of competition in this sector
Could you show us sometime how the stabilizers work
Plenty of vids on YT explaining how they work and also showing the effectiveness in choppy water. 👍
Thanks. Btw they released new FLY model few days ago
Very Nice ❤❤

How many of these yachts are they producing/selling per year?
Very nice boat and nice review but… 0.5M€ in options and still no hi-lo tables, no third docking station, no TVs… Really?

A crew cabin on a '53?
Yep, not uncommon.
Love everything but the bow that belongs on an ice breaker.
Sunseeker wins
Sorry Azimut but...just average.
Great jack
