Yes black is best... and the reas shocks crap as you say on these if you look one of the springs is smaller than the other; cheapo shite parts. Ohlins needed. Anyway looks mega bad ass to me... sounds bad ass too!
Letting the Train take the strain Allways good relaxing .Loveing Your New Street glide Dude Awsome looking at least no more wet backs no rear fender on the FXDR shame she's gone but Street Glides Awsome lots of Adventures etc to come .Safe Riding Leigh Thanks for sharing allways make our Friday evenings We All Loveeeeeee Youuuuuuuuu🤟😈
Thanks Chris, I mean Charlie 🤣. Yea your spot on. The train was actually a pleasant surprise. Yea the FXDR was awesome, but I nightmare in crap weather. All the crap off the road all over my back is definitely not acceptable now. Thanks for all your support Chris & love yooooo toooooo.
This had to be my idea of a perfect motorcycle. The shocks can be sorted of course but the look and sound of the bike is absolutely stunning, what an awesome buy. Love it in black, never thought I'd ever say that! Looking forward to seeing what you have planned for the future
Thanks Julian. Yea im loving it. I only really do Black. Not sure I can say that. Actually I never had. Always loved the idea though. Anyway yea I only really like Black vehicles or Bikes & Kawasaki green. I do have a 98 Yamaha R1 which is Red, White & Black. I also have a silver Yamaha BT 1100 Bulldog. Yea ill sort the suspension later on. I'm looking forward to some good trips on it.
I used the train in early October to get up to northern France for a couple of days then caught the Eurostar to London to spend a few days with my children. It was a great way to travel. Cruising at 300 kph and not having to worry about the traffic around Paris or whether I was OK for ULEZ just added to the attraction.
There was a time I'd think that sounded like a nightmare, but to be honest I can see that was probably really good. It just goes to show how sometimes I really do need to open my mind to new possibilities 🤔
Fun fact. While watching (and enjoying) Leigh's video, the adverts that I watched were for Prada aftershave & Philadelphia cheese. If this is what Googles A. I. thinks I need it's bang on the money!!
That looks alright and sounds even better. It will be a useful tool for covering the miles in all weathers. It looks a lot more practical than the old one but that’s going to be its strength. Enjoy. 🏍
Hi Andy, I'd be interested to see that. I wanted the bigger bags. Not totaly sure what other differences are. Im not sure I'll make it to Weston bike night as Club is the same night.
Nice. Had a street glide, same thing absolutely hated the shocks . I am sure you'll enjoy your new ride, and everything that goes along with the lifestyle, very nice.
Yo bro definitely made the right decision on the bike front. Black on black mint I waz going to text you half way through the vid to say if you needed a map on it. Luckily I watch more you said it has a stage 2 beautiful. Be great touring on that puppy. Good job
Thanks Rob. I homed in on the word "puppy" to start with there. I'm a suckered for nice puppies. Anyway, yea I love it all in Black. Yea I have paperwork for the engine work. Its had a cam & other bits. Can't remember right now. It's had a tune. I was expecting a fuel pack on it, but I think it's been mapped instead.
NICE! I was pretty blummin impressed after a quick look around, it is very cooooool. Neil the Cannon will do, or Colt if it's easier... like I said, I've been called a lot worse.
@@Nightcrawler666 Leigh I meant what bike are you getting to replace the Streetglide? But I’m happy to be updated with your plans in general and on TH-cam I’m scouring your channel for videos I’ve not watched. Probably going to start the farmyard vids tonight 👍
I haven't decided if I'm going to say on here. I've explained to my channel members, but I'm not sure I want to put it out in the open just yet as it were. Aa for the Farm yard. Yea all of those episodes make me laugh. I had some good times with those guys.
Nice looking bike! The last Harley I had was a 2010 Streetbob, it was a nice bike but I had to change the front & rear suspension straight from the start. I put Progressive Suspension front & rear, so much better. It’ll be interesting to see what you do with the bike from here 👍🏻
Spot on bike Leigh , sounds great , as you say not too loud , are they Keis heated gloves I see , I’ve just got some and a heated jacket , the future apparently , stay well and ride safe mate 👊👌👍🤘
Thanks. Yes Keis heated Gillette & gloves. The heated Gillette is shown in a video on here where I go to Millau. The end of year getaway I think its called. The Gillette is the difference of making it to a destination in the cold or NOT making it. Its an absolute game changer as they say. I didn't want the jacket at tge time as I thought the sleeves would restrict my arm movement. Not sure if I should of got the jacket or not. Tbh the Gillette is pretty perfect. Not restrictive at all & really effective. I have Keis heated inner gloves too. I'm not sure if they were actually better. I remember feeling like my hands were actually warm in those. Inside my Halversons gloves, which I now hate & don't wear. The inner linings come out when you take your hands out. The Keis heated gloves are very good winter gloves without even plugging them in. When you do plug them in. You don't really feel the warmth. However! You don't get cold hands. So that's a win. I ride yesterday with all this stuff on at 70mph(obviously) at -3c & I didn't get a cold body or hands. My feet were also warm in the new socks I showed on Facebook. Gold top I think they are called. The Halversons gloves are what I hate now. Just to be clear. The inner Keis gloves are awesome.
@@Nightcrawler666 That’s good to hear Leigh if it does what it says on the tin as they say , keis does get good reviews so that’s why I invested in it , I looked at the gilet but went for the new ultra flex jacket as I thought if I need it the complete covering would be better , I’m getting older and colder as they say Keep up the good work and ride safe mate 👊👌👍
Looks great - best of luck with it. One thing I don’t like about my Road Glide is the speedo/tach placement - looks like the CB750K I had in 1977 with them on the handlebars. Much prefer the dashboard of the batwings. What was ‘the thing’ you passed on the train? Whatever it was it looked very old.
Yea I agree. I do love the look of the road glide though & I liked the idea of the 2 storage compartments in fairing. I'm not sure what that thing was. The ruins of a castle maybe.
Still cannot believe you went to Wales to buy a bike without me? I miss our buy a bike from wales once a year weather we needed one or not trip haha! Hope she is being a good bike for you?
Yea roger that. Does your husband not have the Street Glide Special now then? Where are you guys? Yea I can see why you'd think the front gubbins would put you off. I did think that originally.
