Agreed. No one is doing that for real. You can do that scene in a way that is much more realistic than that. This scene takes you right out of the short because it’s so ridiculous
2nd one was my favorite. Grew up in a backwater town like that in the 80's. Lived and worked all over the world since then, including many third world countries. And to this day, small town America is the most frightening place I've ever been.

It's scary cus back yard small towns people are unpredictable..uneducated, dangerous , drug addicts and rapists or pedos alot of the time.
It's scary cus the boys have no discipline and u wait thinking any minute they are going to harm her but it ended up being a serial killer picking her up in the end.
It's almost always in small towns in America.

The 1st one might refer to a serial killer named Richard Chase. He said, he took a locked doors as a sign he is not welcome. But unlock doors is like an invitation for him.

I remember that case when the police asked why he didn't go in people's houses who had their doors locked he replied it was because he knew he wasn't wanted in there. Gave me the creeps reading that something I'll never forget and I always tell my friends mind and lock the door every time I leave their houses.
How amazing is this channel stumbled on it by accident can't get enough of the stories. Production is brilliant
The Ted Bundy piece was excellent. So dangerous being a woman in a "Ted Bundy" culture.
The 3rd one was so annoying, what is wrong with her?! OMG, he could have just drove around him like he suggested, now after the dilly dallying and lost parka, they ran him over! Jeez! After all that?

Everyone keeps saying how dumb the heroine of the first short film was, but, honestly, she froze in shock (which happens to people) and it was the matter of minutes. The police wouldn't come within such short notice, and I bet she'd still call them after the man was out of sight. The truth is that she wouldn't help her neighbours much even if she did tell the address right away.
And, besides, the surreal feeling of this horror not being real could also overwhelm her a lot.
....that doesn't happen in real life...or if it does, only to idiots.
First thing I've done when I called the police is give my address.

Definitely these short stories are better than the entire movies. It has everything which excites us beyond limits 👍

During the Ted bundy one, I was fully expecting the woman getting her picture taken to say “I’ll be back for it later” when she gave her the baby
It annoyed me so badly when she was on the phone and the dispatch keep asking "ma'am what's the address?" And she just got all silent and covered her mouth while listening to what sounded like a murder being committed next door 🙄I'm mean come on lady, u did all that dialed the number and everything just to tell the 911 dispatch that somebody was going into ur neighbors house 🤦🏾♀️🙄🤦🏾♀️....very bad writing makes the actress look like a totally ignorant person. 😆🤷🏾♀️😆

I wouldn’t be silent. The guilt I would harbor if I just stood their silent without giving an address, knowing that with cell phones, they need one, would be way to strong for me if I didn’t give the needed info.
No offense but, I hope you never have to prove your words.
I think the creator of the film wants this reaction, he/she wants people to be upset that she isn’t giving the info, that means your pulled into the story!

I was super frustrated watching as well but also freezing in terror is a normal human reaction. Flight fight or freeze. So just because we think we would react properly when you’re in that situation you never know

A Visitor - Visitor is awesome and scary as hell. The killer is not scary but the film is full of suspense. Thank you ALTER and usually I get scared of real life horror that other horror movies
Fry day - Fry day has a scary atmosphere while I noticed that Ted Bundy was scary quite like Michael C. Hall. It shows how scary a girl and a woman lived during that time period. In the end it does not show whether the girl is killed by a Copycat killer or she is given a lift by a passerby. Even though she is killed, the killer won't get caught and the boys will be caught instead or the girl might be left as a victim of Ted Bundy.
Whiteout - Whiteout is annoying and has a jumpscare only, while leaving the couple as the killers of the story
Carnivore - Carnivore had a deep and dark horror within it, but in the end it was like meh.
Fantastic selection of films. All unique, well made and entertaining.

All excellent , first one, what did the guy have in his hand walking away down the street after he went into neighbors house. I understand going through that and then seeing what she did, it was just fright. 911 should know the address. Great stories!

Maybe I’m just reading into it a bit too hard, but I do think the white boys in the group of 3 in the second short, may have framed Miguel for stealing from “Grannies”. His facial expression and body language when he said “I was stealing” is similar to when he said “It was nice meeting you” towards the end, guilt ridden but also cowardly. Knowing he was agreeing to do something he never wanted to. I can only imagine what it was like being one of the ONLY Latinos in a small backroads town during this era.
The first one was the scariest and my favorite. The second one mastered the fear atmosphere. The third one was really good at scaring us without actually scaring us. The fourth one was eh.

kind of sad and depressing to see how people treat other people - I can only wonder when it so horrible as it is in real life that there is a whole industry built up around it for our entertainment - but it is really sad entertainment - to see people hurt killed raped and mentally and emotionally abused and yet people eat this stuff up - like gobble it up - and
it does not nourish the soul or heart in any good way. Actually, for some it might add to their already dark world they seem to enjoy living in.

Ok, "Fry Day" was kinda weak. Not sure what made it thrilling but whatever it was, i couldn't find it. ...and why do so many of these end without ending? Shouldn't a story have a beginning, middle and end (and by end, I mean a conclusion)? They're not endings that leave me wanting more, but they do leave me wanting less. I'm not trying to be rude, i'm just curious and I can't learn if I don't ask. :)

I feel like the ending is almost like a glimpse into her headspace when the ride was offered to her. She had no idea if the driver would assault her, murder her like Bundy, or if it would have been totally okay

Ok, the way the visitor ended, was honestly kinda disappointing tbh, I mean I'm a big fan of horror and all, But it just wasn't scary enough for me, like it didn't give me enough of that scary factor.
