I freaking LOVED micro machines as a young lad. My brother and I had a bunch of Star Wars ones at we loved to make huge battle scenes with all our mini AT-ATs and what not. Good times.
Micro transactions used to actually be cool and unique now there all just generic cash grabs already planned before a games release,remember when they were an afterthought and we’re still incredible

The little physical toy cars were awesome though, especially if you stepped on one. They'd also hide under beds and chairs and get sucked up the hoover, it was always fun digging fingers through a vacuum bag to retrieve it. 😂
Glad we are out of alpha into beta phase! If they actually get it to release state within a year (or ever) I'll be quite impressed. Best we can hope for is they look to BF 3/4 for inspiration for the next BF.
@@THEfailer993 no they didn't lol. They said they did. But in practice they did nothing of the sort. It's their development choices that matter. They took fuck all from BF 3/4. MISSING most of the key features both games had. Missing the map style, weapon/attachment choice and much more.

Movement mechanics and even the gunplay in BFV were so solid, and the atmospheric feel of BF1 is practically unparalleled by any other game of any other franchise. Know what I mean?

128 Breakthrough could be good if DICE had actually thought through what they were doing... if the maps were designed in a way that compliments 128 player matches and the points were designed to not group those 128 players in two small areas for example.
hopefully with the updates they have found ways to break the..frontline up, so we arent jousting head on the whole time. more debris like vehicles and broken down tanks etc etc would be sick. like in the Irish trailer
Universal skins are a nice change of pace. The only other weekly mission i thought was cool was Rao's helmet that makes him look more like an actual soldier. The previous weekly mission skins were kinda meh.
Play as Angel, at the start of a game, call in a loadout crate on top of a AFK player, it will kill them for you to then revive them, you can repeat this a few times. Should be easy to get the revives. It's also funny to watch them get bopped on the head with a loadout crate.
Battlefield arguably had the greatest formulas when they made BF3 and BF4. I don't know why they just don't go with that as their core model. There's no need for 128 player lobbies. 64 or less allows for tactics and promotes squad play. Maps that are too big was one of the biggest problems with BF5. 2042 looks like COD to me and its not a good look. Unless and until they return to putting quality of gameplay and content ahead of profits and share prices, the BF franchise will continue to decline. Ironically, if they focused on the quality of content, the profits and share prices will take care of themselves.
for future reference once you unlock the weekly mission. you dont have to quit to customize your weapon or specialist skin you can do that from the pause menu during a game.

Man, I just started playing BF2042 again (after about a 5 month break) and am honestly enjoying the hell out of it. There are still some quality of life things they could fix. My biggest complaint is that there is no lifetime stats. Wtf. Can't even see what my KD is!? But I love the gun play and overall having a great time.
Ah Micromachines the memories going over the corn and the cobb, round the toilet seat and fly off never making it all the way round and the pool table ... No spilt screen multiplayer great memories Jack!
Yo I was in this match, said hi over chat but u had it turned off. Only thing of note I did was after Jack shot the prone guy at 12:00 , I shot the rocket just afterwards.
literally in the first 2 seconds of the video I saw a glimpse of what 2042 looked like without the blue tint, honestly i wish the game went for more of this style
Breakthrough 128 players: make it ultra hardcore, where 1-5 bullets will kill you, the vehicles have realistic damage and capabilities, punishing respawn times (and other things) - those that don't like it will stop playing it, but those that understand what's possible will organise platoons of friends to work together for objectives and develop a meta that revolves around teamwork and intelligent use of assets. The games will be epic, with memorable experiences and a playerbase that rabidly defends the values of that game style. (Basically an arcade-y version of a milsim - there's a huge un-tapped market for this, with a lot of players not having been exposed to the possibilities of a more visceral and engaging experience.)

Can't lie that since the last update on the game i'm enjoying it again. Only thing that still is a huge enouying thing in the game is the amount of boltes.
if you plan to use voice chat, make sure you switch to "squad chat". in HZ, if you play with friends, it's automatically set to "party chat" and you have to wait until you're deployed to change it. it should default to squad and not party, but maybe next update

ive had bf 2042 since the beta and its at its best ritenow. they fixed 95% of the issues but im seeing characters glitch and theyll look like polygons during match endings

I haven't watched anything about this game in a while, but in this video it seemed like it was almost actually playable.. Do you just have a super beefy PC that can run the game like it's actually meant to, or, and I know this sounds crazy..... is the game actually getting better???

You can barely vault over walls in this game.
You can hold down “3” while playing Angel to self-apply armor. Way quicker than tossing one down and waiting for it to snap on to ya.

I loved micro machines as a kid, best memory was paying in the dirt with construction set and making a quarry.

There is, you need to enable stats at the options and then you can see it in the 2042 tracker.
