Impressions/observations during the test drive:
The overall exterior design of the M6 looks sporty and aggressive because of its sharp lines in its exterior light and front grille designs. Moving over into the inside, one would see a minimalist, yet technologically modern because of the small amount of buttons and functions that may be controlled through the infotainment screen which responds well to inputs. Aside the usual radio functions; the cooled seats, A/C, ambient lights' colors, windows, side mirrors, sun roof, drive modes, and driving assistance/safety features may be controlled through the said screen.
This engine paired with the dual clutch transmission makes this car quick and so fun to drive, even without an actual manual mode. Like the Emkoo, there is no +/- in the gear lever & there are no paddle shifters which means there is no manual mode. The DCT of this car is subjectively preferable over the CVTs in other vehicles, especially since it provides a more responsive drivetrain. The accelerator and brake pedals are responsive enough to inputs. In eco and comfort mode, the steering is light but in sport mode it gains a little more weight. It is very light on all the driving modes though, which evidences that this car is designed more for comfort and premium feel rather than all-out sportiness. This makes the M6 an ideal vehicle for both daily driving in the cities, and long range drives to out-of-town places. Another thing that makes the M6 ideal for that is its good ride quality and outside noise insulation.
