I’m glad you mentioned the Big Kahuna! My favorite beach disc. Stands up to a breeze a little better. My favorite overall. In lighter winds the Ultrastar is hard to beat
I found only today this your video, and we are in March 2021, but for me this is a very interesting topic! I hope I can get the answers I now make... Ok, for USA o Canada. But in Europe we have (if I don't get wrong) the Eurodiscs, for the Ultimate official competitions (major stability tendency than the discraft ones, I daresay). Also I'd like ask about the Aria discs (cheaper than other Ultimate discs, but with the characteristics of the official Ultimate discs). I use primarily Ultimate discs: the Aria discs (base model), a couple of Eurodiscs (manufactured in Germany, with recycled plastics, of in my opinion graet quality), one chinese disc (declarated official for Ultimate, and, imho, a disc good as the others). Then I have a disc for Freestyle (but I don't like that discipline...), and three discs for disc Golf (for beginners): 1 Putter, 1 Midrange, and 1 Driver, the third very satisfying for me really very fast and going far. Another question: in Discathon can be used Ultimate discs and golf discs? And in accuracy can be used Ultimate discs?
Great info. What is your recommendation for throwing as far as you can and being a catchable disc. Have a discraft ultrastar, works great, anything better?
Some nice historical / technical info, but the action is So slow-paced it Hurts.. if it Was me, I'd Be throwing Each FRISBEE around Randomly (Right after i was Finished yapping About it !) SUPER FLING !!
For throwing and catching I would say a Discraft 175 gram Ultra Star Sports Disc. Very good frisbee and is pretty heavy when the standard is like 125 to 150 grams
I suggest the Discraft 175 gram Ultra Star Sport Disc. Sorry if this comment is too late for your need but if you still want the type of frisbee you should use I would say the one I have recommended. It has a 4.7 star review on Amazon.
Marcos M I really like disc golf to. I like the accuracy the game makes you put into each throw and you have to guess/estimate how hard you have to throw the frisbee to get the frisbee into each target.

This was exactly the information i was looking for. Thank you
Thank you very much! Very helpful!
Thanks
Super useful! Thanaks man
Petsmart or petco frisbee rocks for general play. You throw from your hip. The spin creates loft /airtime

I'd recommend a Frisbee Fastback or an Innova Condor: www.frisbeerob.com/store. All of my longest TRC's have been with a Condor.

Totally fair...I know I gave a lot of information, but for someone new to frisbee, it's important :)
I personally prefer a heavy disk do you have a suggestions
Depends what disc sport you want to play....what do you want to use the disc for?

So I want an ultimate frisbee disc that goes far and flys straight, what do you recommend?

Michael Garrity I actually got that one lol thank you, I made a guess and watched others use it on TH-cam thank you!!
Marcos M no problem just trying to help somebody out. It is my favorite frisbee and a lot of others favorite.
Michael Garrity yes it’s one of my favorite ones and I’ve gotten into disc golf also
