A well done story that’s a little different with a story that resembles a ghost but isn’t. The effects were minimal but worked well. This is a strong episode and has the usual top notch production, acting and a good enough story to make it a good watch. Lots could be said about the implications of PTSD and how we treat soldiers but I aint digging into that. They know the ramifications and how it affects soldiers, they truly do not care. Ugh... I never enlisted but in 1992, talked to a recruiter and with a buddy went home with papers in hand to think about it - to this day I wonder how different my life would have been had I signed on the line. My Dad served and wanted me and my 2 brothers to have that experience but my heart just wasn't in it.
Aenigma is another fantastic companion to this story with such similar themes.

@@DonJoeBob Yeah, definitely hearing ya buddy. I did enlist, 90’-94’ for Desert Storm. I have mixed feelings, although at the end of the day, it did equip me with certain tools that I was lacking, mainly a new level of seriousness as I reengaged with college afterwards, I just was a totally different person and I mean, in a good way, everything to me, I just took that much more serious. I lucked out, my four years were for the most part incident free, meaning no combat, and I came out the other end married and the first of my four children. It worked out for me in the end, it’s hard for me to have any real regrets. But I can definitely understand when it goes terribly wrong for others. You are right, that’s just something your heart has got to be into or it’s just not gonna work, most likely. 🍻

@@vhs8270 I was raised within 30 minutes from Fort Knox, so there was always a military presence in my life. Since it was the norm around here, I wasn't pulled that direction, I leaned towards other things and just didn't wanna leave home. I do believe the experience would have been good for me though. Glad you turned out better for it and did your part, definitely hope you enjoy the holiday tomorrow! Thanks to you for your service
