This is Jhelum River.
Kishanganga converts into Neelum River when it enters Taobat.
The second axis is Jhelum Valley, from where River Jhelum comes.
Neelum and Jhelum combine into Jhelum and then move towards Mangla, where the dam is constructed.
Nausehri-Majhoi-Chattar Klaas is the diversion of water for the NJ Project.
I've spent two wonderful years of my life in Muzaffarabad and have seen the entire region, Alhamdulillah.

This is the pondage, from where water of Neelum is diverted to Majhoi (Jhelum River) and then fed to Chattar Klaas.
Neelum will turn green-blue as you'll move ahead 🙂

I commend/appreciate your Doctor friend (Dr. Bilal), that he finds time to relax and live a little. The Doctors in my family (UK & USA) are just work, work. Sometimes they forget to enjoy life good for you Doc. These days 'work life balance' is very important and is practiced by largest software company in the world (which I would not name because I am associated with it), lols ..you probably guessed it. Stay safe both of you, evangelize cleanliness- no littering to folks in your blog. Fix one person at a time, rebuild the country one brick at a time, go for it. BTW - the reason I am so eager to see your blogs because when I was growing up I used to dream what you are doing now (Ride a bike around these places) but I left Pakistan for US However, I also had a smaller Motorbike while in school (Honda 750 in those days, seem like a very long time) in Chicago, which I could use ONLY in Summer time, winters are VERY cold in Chicago, so you know the reason of my interest.
