I first went to France when I was 7, and that's exactly where I went from, with my family. The moment we got off the ferry and I saw the signs in French I fell in love with the country.

People keep talking about how Selmar got hurt or abused? What happened? The people from LaLande were abusing Selmar and Tati? Then WHY would he go back?? Who was abusing him and who allowed it?? This is insane.. ! It is against French law to abuse interns or employed staff wether they were paid or not. I mean French law is VERY strict about such things.
So glad you are both going back to France. Sorry but in my opinion you both look more settled there. Ruby will be happy, Deizel will be happy catching up with old friends. You and Tatyana will be able too look for your new forever home. The very best too you both. ☺️👵🏻🇦🇺

Boy times have changed from when I took the ferry over with total freedom, no lines etc to France. My first crossing was sooo exciting. We have the same awful drudgery here in Vermont to cross into Canada, an hour from my house. But, your filming makes it exciting, the music, the seagulls, your beautiful smile.
This reminds me so much of there many ferry rides I’ve been to the islands of Seattle and Vancouver, British Columbia. There is always something exciting about a ferry. Cold, sometimes nauseating, but always exciting. Imagine! You are crossing in the places of kings. Wow?!

Or we’d still be there. I need sunshine. France is sunny. It gets my vote. May ancestors came to America way before our revolutionary war. I wish they’d gone to France instead. Did you ever hear why they fired 800 people at the port ? That is such a huge number I just wondered. Glad you are well.
So they could hire workers at a lot less wages.
Minimum wage in UK about £9.40/hour
They want to bring in foreign labour, and pay £5.15 / hour with worse conditions of service.
