Not just Mickey. There are other iconic characters that started off doing questionable things like this. Mario for example originally had a game called circus on game and watch where he’s essentially abusing donkey Kong and it’s the reason he breaks out and becomes the the antagonist.
Now THIS is how you use the public domain. I don’t care how many schlocky low-budget Steamboat Willie horror games or horror movies end up coming out now, this type of creativity is why the public domain will always be worth it. Outstanding job!

Anyways I like the unique style of this ytp mostly being silent and 90% of it not getting any colors!
It surprisingly fits really well with the 1920's animation and really feels like a YTP of it's own.

I absolutely love this, not even as a joke. Older cartoons fit the YTP formula so well because they're already ridiculous
i can definitely see how a YTP without source dialogue could be challenging, but you managed to make something that still reminded me of when i'd come home and watch old CDI Hotel Mario videos. bravo!

Honestly for how much I hate Disney, Mickey doesn't deserve to take the shot for them, and especially not Walt.
If you knew more about Walt you wouldn't care. The guy made my childhood, but was an absolute piece of shiz.
What a lot of people forget is that Walt was a real human being from a different time period who made mistakes. We can’t just expect people to be perfect all the time, even those we look up to. Regardless of his mistakes he still understood what made the company get its “Magic”. During the company’s golden eras, they had a very understandable reason to be as successful as they were.
