Thank you for the advice. I'm considering leaving corporate America to do this. And yes i love dogs. Had 3 up till 4 months ago. Now have 2 pups that i love more than life itself.
Nice video! All your dogs are so lucky to have you. I’ve been with her on several of her work days. I can hardly keep up and sometimes I have to sit out a walk at the coffee shop. It is exhausting. You’re such a hard worker.
Hi! I'm ten years old which I know sounds young to be a dog walker but I walk 8 dogs a day n my neighborhood. And all of the dogs are super happy going on walks.
the most stressful part about being a dog walker in Fort Worth is not getting customers. So many people asking for help with their pets, but none are hiring. so frustrating.
I’m looking to be a dog walker for my neighborhood, do you have a key to their house and you walk in get the dog and lock up? I’m confused on the logistics lol
For a lot of my clients I have keys that they have given me since they’re usually not home. Other clients have lockboxes outside with a code and I put the keys back when I’m done :) I usually ask them what they prefer to do.
I love dogs and im willing to pick up dogs shit and take care for them but i never have experience for taking care of dogs because they never let me have a dog growing up, will i be able to still get hired?
If you truly have a love for animals you can always look for dog walking jobs on Indeed. If they’re looking for someone with experience, a good place to start might be volunteering at a shelter :)
I never let the dogs I walk come in contact with another dog. It’s not worth the risk. I also need to be hands free in case of a threat so my leash clips around my waist like a belt and my phone is on a lanyard. Sprays are kept in a Fanny pack and ready to go if needed.
When I was with the company I previously worked for (during the time of this video) I was paid hourly. So I got $15 per hour and most days was 6hrs of work, Mon-Fri. Not great money but I was also a part time employee.

so are you including the pickup/dropoff time in the walks? or from the time you get to the destination and start the walk?
What app do you use?

hey what company is hiring you
It was a small company in Brooklyn. Definitely check out Indeed! That’s where I found them
It’s so fun however New York City you can do it full time
You definitely can! I actually have my own dog walking business now :)
Is it always just one dog at a time?
I have my own business now, so I walk two at a time for some walks, but the most I’ll do is three at a time
Such a hard worker!
❤

That’s good stuff! I keep my things in a fanny pack as well. It’s rare my dogs say hi to other dogs. You never know what could happen
how do you land these jobs?
I went on indeed and searched for dog walking jobs. A company actually hired me :)
How many steps do you get in a day??!! My FitBit would explode! Such a cute video! Nice work!
