I'm from the Jura area ( the mountain). I like very much the tradition whites, the savagnin mix, or pure savagnin but it's more expensive, also the vin jaune for very special occasions.
Any wine with savagnin should be served a bit like red wine, let it breath, don't serve it too fresh, condensation on the glass is a big no or you will have to warm your glas with your hand to be able to smell and taste the savagnin ! It happens to me, I was not pleased at all !
