I love Richard Gere. I met him a few times back in the early 90’s when he stayed at the hotel I was working for in Tokyo. I took a lot of celebrity guests to their rooms, but he was my favorite. He was very down-to-earth. A really nice guy.
@@Melinda8162, all of them were really nice. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Cindy Crawford, Glenn Close, Diane Lane, Elizabeth Taylor, Brooke Shields, etc. He just stuck out for me because he was fun, silly and joked around. The Japanese staff all loved him too. He stayed with us a few times. His wife, at the time, was Cindy Crawford. She was much more reserved and quiet. So overall, they were all very nice people.
@@crh251 Oh I'm sure she was!! How I wish I could have seen "more celebrities"! Only seen a few .... don't live where they are. Although I did live in Phoenix for awhile....I'm always curious to hear what people who interact with them think !! 😃. You were lucky 👍
What is wrong with that woman? Didn't want to tell the father that he had a son, but had to tell him that this son, that he never knew because of her, had died. Why not just keep quiet and let the man be?

He's one of the few people who seem to have managed to maintain his charm and swagger even in his elder years. Pretty crazy; he's aged very gracefully. Also nice to finally see him back in a theatrical release after Hollywood's blacklist.
Richard Gere has always been one of my favorite actors and this looks great. Primal Fear is one of my favorite films of all time….and I’ve been a Diane Kruger fan since Wicker Park with Josh Hartnett and Rose Byrne. Can’t wait to see this! Bring it on!
Wow! They don’t make movies like this anymore…. I plan on seeing it for sure! Richard Gere always makes you forget you’re watching a movie… he pulls you into the story and doesn’t let go..
Wow! They don’t make movies like this anymore. Aren't we watching the trailer for a movie exactly like this? Personally I wish they didn't make movies like this. It's takes a special combination of bad taste and low intelligence to enjoy such films. It's probably a favorite movie of the Trump MAGA crowd.
I remember all those years ago going to see American Gigolo and thinking afterwards that he had a bright future ahead of him. Good to see him back on the screen.
WOW! You must be psychic. He'd only headlined in FOUR HOLLYWOOD MEGA-BUDGET FEATURE FEATURES OVER THE PREVIOUS 4 YEARS and, when he headlined in his FIFTH MAJOR RELEASE for the 5th year running YOU FIGURED HE HAD A BRIGHT FUTURE AHEAD OF HIM. You people prove that care in community has failed....
I remember seeing Richard Gere in 1978 when he was filming "Yanks" in Stalybridge, Manchester UK. After seeing him I became a fan of his, watching all his films. 💌
I'm betting Richard didn't decide to settle down in Stalybridge... Even the Queen couldn't find anything nice to say about Manchester. I suppose it could be worse. At least it's not full of Scousers or Geordies.
Hollywood blacklisted him over a statement about Tibet at the Oscars about 2decades ago. Trust me!him trying to be relevant now is better for him.gen z won't be bother about any political statement he made back then
I've gotten so I just watch the first 30 sec or so... unless I don't think i'm interested, then I'll watch the whole thing because I won't see the movie anyway.
When u see those great actors on screen again, the movie seems again real and u mistakenly feel that life is like it was. But its not..its only for the moment. Good days we lived until 2008. After that downhill and u know what happened? Society changed cause of social media.
Richard Gere looks like a real man. Kruger had so much plastic surgery she doesn’t even look human anymore. I am so tired of seeing great natural looking actresses getting so much face jobs they don’t have any expression left to act with. And our mothers, wives, sisters, friends don’t look like that either. So no connection.
Thank you, Richard, for coming back!! One of my all-time favorite actors, underrated always and a joy to watch ❤
Richard Gere is not at all underrated... Why do you say that?

Why was he blacklisted?? He's made wonderful movies. Love Richard.
Something to do with politics
THEATRICAL RELEASE????
People actually PAY to watch this depressing shit in a theater?
Do cinema's in your area have a MENOPAUSE SPECIAL on Thursdays?

Richard Gere deserves thumbs up in any movie; he's a complete actor, plays comedy, drama, musician, dancer, he's so talented!
It's has been 20yrs since his been on the screen. Welcome back Richard
He actually appeared last yer in Maybe I Do with Diane Keaton and Emma Roberts. Not a good film unfortunately.

Richard Gere is one of the best actors in the business. It's good to see him in another film. Can't wait to see this.
Love Richard Gere . I loved him in every movie I have seen him in. And that is a lot!
He is THE Charm
Love Richard Gere. Looks great.♥️💥💯
Love Richard Gere. Great actor. I will definitely see this movie.
Diane Kruger is absolutely killing it right now! Watch the trailer for The American. We're being spoiled rotten with these performances!
This looks good. I don't go to theatres anymore. My first thought when I see a new movie I'd like to experience is "where can I stream it."
Finally a movie worth buying tickets for!! It’s about damn time!
Wow looks real good. Richard Gere still has got it!
That is a long time to see Richard Gere in a movie since The Double,i hope it is worth it.
Will wait for this in the theater
It's nice to see a Richard's back on our screens
Looking forward to watching this movie. Thanks 4 sharing !! 😎
Richard Gere! You are the best!
A great actor.
I have to see this
I was thinking about seeing this, but thanks to the trailer, I don't need to. Thanks, everyone!
Ruchard Gere as dashing n suave as ever. Looking forward to watch as been a while since his last movie.
Diane Kruger what a fab actress and her and green, a match made in heaven

When for a moment you mistake Richard Gere for Sir Ian McKellen you know you're getting old.
That’s the first thing I said to the wife when I saw this trailer! Then, “man, I must be getting old too!” 😊
wish this was on netflix
It will on Netflix in double quick time no doubt

After 20 years of no Gere they give him a really long car commercial
The smoothing filter is strong in this one....
Definitely will be a 5 star, box office bomb. Who the hell thought it would be a good idea to put Richard Gere in front of the camera at his age.😂
This is interesting.

You didn't tell him about his son 20 years ago
But you told him after the boy died

Anyone know what the song is called that was used throughout the trailer?
fun
Love me some Bridget von Hammersmark. “Can You Americans Speak Any Other Language Besides English?”
Who knew?! That Richard Gere doubled as Morgan Freeman during his lean years!
Whew! An adult movie mystery? A real plot? No cgi human cartoons flying around the screen beating each other up? I'm there!
Woah! Trailer is a bit too revealing! Sounds good though. I wish I hadn't watched the spoiler/trailer though!
well this is an easy movie to figure out who done it.... I know just from watching this trailer. Looks good though
It’s not a “who done it” type of movie…?
I like to see movie with him and Liam Neeson. Be cool 😎
Is this a series or movie ?

Is that a recap video?

Gere's gerbil tell-all
He’s getting up there. Must be on like his 10th gerbil 🐹 by now
At least his hair look the same
One benefit a going grey in your late thirties, you look the same age until you're in your seventies i guess
He's clearly much older
The no-thrill thriller version of May December
I'd love to watch RG ... but once again, did the trailer just reveal the entire plot of the film...
Average trailer 2.5 star vs average movie 3 star 😮😮
well that was a good movie
no, but at least it was short.
😂 Wow, I haven't seen Richard Gere since Pretty Woman!
You’ve missed a lot of his great work.
Richard is still so handsome and i love his voice it is so distinctive. Richard is 74, how did that happen?.
LONGING FOR IT TO END or just LONG would have been better titles.
I enjoyed that. No need to watch now.
Is this "Unfaithful" part II?
Richard Gere is now 74, how did that happen?.
