You are an expert in your trade, disciplined, structured, passionate, ticking all the boxes. Your explanations are detailed and informative. I am in awe of you reversing your rig around some of those nooks and crannies. A u tube winner!
It took me years and years to learn my craft, am still doing it now. 35 years on. jemma is a credit to herself and the people that took time to train her. 👌
Brilliant Jemma. I like watching these older videos. I think the weather was better last year. I like the way you said shattered. Thanks Jemma stay safe. ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️🤸👍
These videos are delightful to watch Jemma. I love the way you explain the time management and you never miss an opportunity to get things done within the time available.
I'm exhausted watching!🤣 Few more people ought to see what the Haulage Business does to keep them alive.......might improve their attitude on the road too......doubt it!
Hi Jemma, I have just found your channel and love it. I have spent the afternoon watching a dozen or so of your videos. So different to trucking in Australia, cheers Terry
Really enjoy your videos, and the way you just show what you do, no trying to make it dramatic. Also pleased I'm not the only one who struggles with those sheets, especially if the pole gets bent, although they're better than what they replaced, remember in my early days having to walk on top of the load, potatoes normally, dragging the sheet.
Stonehenge looks fantastic even from the distance. I didn't know a highway is this close to that famous place. It's interesting the company didn't spend a few extra pounds on an electric sheet on this trailer. The front loader driver was very kind when he helped you out with his machine at the first location. This was a relatively easy day for you, which is always a positive. You could even shower, which is refreshing on a hot summer day. As always this is a very entertaining and informative vlog Jemma. Your content keeps getting better and better. 🥰👍
Hi Jemma, great job on your vids. I love watching them and see what you do and job well done indeed. I follow other UK truckers and boy do you guys have a tough job with all those tight lanes! I’m a truck driver in Australia but just a 15t Heavy Rigid and love it. I’d love to get into a semi one day. You are inspirational! By the way your Scania is a beauty. All the best and keep up the great work. ❤
...... T-bar for rolling your tarp ..... between 06 & 09 did the manual tarp thing on a two trailer setup with the gantry that folded down between the trailers, occasionally would be on a straight box 53 footer and would use the same process on these as I will describe .... the handle we had at our disposal was a crank style with the arm being 18 inches so could get the leverage and could have one hand on the handle and the other hand on the base ..... rolling up was just as you did .... the covering up we also did from the gantry and would steer the far end and work it so it was moving across ahead of where we had the crank ... also would be pushing it so it would not fall inside the trailer cause that would be a right pain .... once the far end is close to falling over the side we would walk the crank end to the side so the whole length would flop over at the same time ..... good to practice to get the feel on a full volume load ...... we were able to arrive at the mill, detarp, back under the bins, load, pull out, tarp and be rolling again in twenty minutes if no line-up or having to wait for product if the bins didn't have a load in them which was rare and then it was on average a 12 hour rounder to the pulp mill and back and then the cross shift would do his rounder .. at the pulp mill could be emptied as quick as 11 minuets (scale in to scale out), there they stand the whole truck on end and everything from the front trailer flows through the second and out the back into the pit ....there are many different ways to do things I understand and only you can know what's best for you ....... once again have to say, very impressed with your dealing with the lanes and traffic courtesies ..... pretty sweet getting a 4 hour deadhead when it is not the norm ..... smart having your tea in the truck, keeps the ingle in the pocket, good place for it for sure ..... thx for the share .. as always .. never stop dreaming, just dream bigger .. have fun be safe, save our oceans .....
Blooming excellent videos girl, love your presentation as well, I’m an artic driver but never get bored of watching what you’re up to. Keep up the great content, your channel is growing nicely.
Morning not long got home from my foot down friday shift .... i stick to me curtains off to sleep in the garden joys of night work .Enjoy ya weekend what ever sun we get ⛅⛅
14.31 well there goes the shower at the services.🤣🤣😂😂. Really loving these videos, you certainly keep yourself busy all the time. Great sense of humour and lovely positive attitude. Enjoy your tea.
Lovely video again! I enjoy the farmdeliveries as a farmer and former truckdriver😊. And about crazy emty miles.. i used to do a run on saturdays. 280 kms emty most of the time. And 260kms loaded. And often 2 trucks doin that.. on a saturday afternoon.. i once did it with only 6 rollcontainers (of 54 places) 😅.
Thanks for another great vlog Jemz, a nice leisurely start to the weekend. Tonight Jemma I'm going to be 'Dusty' Springfield 😆. Sorry Jemz couldn't resist it. I hope you and Ryan have a great weekend. ❤
Hi Jemma, love the channel so had to give you a cheeky beep when I passed you on the M5 southbound this morning (in an Abacus Van) near Clevedon. I'm guessing the Flying Dutchman is looking like a frosted cake in this rain again lol
Good video again. The farm at Market Drayton is anotherone by me . The motocross track at the bottom of the lane is where i race occasionally . Its an old ww2 airfield. Old control tower is now a house .
Hi Jemma, another brilliant video, I love your content and it's great to see your TH-cam subscribership going up. You're so efficient in your work and you do a fantastic job! That's great you're planning to do merch, all the best with that and I'd definitely buy it :) have a fab weekend and safe trucking next week. Hopefully I can get to meet you by chance out on the road somehow, someday. Take care and keep up the excellent work you do :) #QueenOfTheRoad
Hi Jemma awesome video again thanks, says a lot about your character how you persist till you get the job done. No job you can't do if you put your mind to it well done you. A great role model for anyone thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Hi Jemma, another great video , shame you couldn't get the good blower trailer with the electric sheet and weighing machine that works in your cab . A lot of hard work for you, please ware a mask , as a farmers son my father had a dust related breathing problem in his later years due to not wearing a mask in the grain store on the farm. Safe driving
Hi Jemma, thanks for another great vlog. I know what you mean about picking routes. The last job I did we had commercial navigation on the work app and it would quite often tell you to go a different way to the sat nav. Just left you hoping you’d picked the right one. Stay safe out there. 😎🇬🇧
Jemmy , if when you have parked up for the day why not do a walk round check to save time in the morning, it could be peeing down with rain. To be safe when overnight parking put a padlock on to where your fithwheel clip goes. If you do your checks the night before and there is a fault you can get it organised. Just finished my last nightshift trunk after 40yrs with one firm😢 x
Well done 40 years. Hopefully, you enjoyed most of it. I think jemma checks in the morning in case flat tyres ect overnight. Hope you enjoy your retirement myself. I don't know how I ever had time to go to work. Enjoy and take care.
Well done Jemma you did make me laugh haha . Along while ago there used to be a tv program called Candid Camera well before Stars in their eyes good job i was polite ! Well done backing it in 1st time ! Farmer at the surprise tip .
Wow first time I've seen your video, I much respect you as a driver myself I know what it is like to drive long distances, but going from Somerset was It? to Market Drayton which is where I go and surrounding areas, and then 195 miles back to Essex, man that's insane lol, and you are a very beautiful hardworking lady. Loved your video very much.
Big fan Jemma love your content and videos, I have always wanted to drive a lorry I currently at tesco deliver9ng shopping to customers, but in next couple years when they have a vacancy I will be going onto the tesco Lorrys. I always enjoy watching your videos and thank you for the content. 😀😃🙂🙃
Jemma if you do make merch, PLEASE PLEASE offer shipping to the United States. I'm a big fan of yours from Texas. Would be awesome to have a Shirt and hoodie with your truck on it. Maybe you and Wains can do merch together
Jim, I have been watching when you went to market Drayton with the blower and it looks to me when you pull out on that one local crossroads there’s a school on the left hand side I’m not I think it’s Stoke. On. Turn. School straight over take you to the A41 nine you turn right and it takes you back to the M54. I went to that school if that is still coupon turn school my parents farm is down that road on the right hand side that’s if I have figured it out properly. Ken. G. Morgan.
Lovely video Jemma, always enjoyable watching what another driver does and as I drop off quite a bit at Frome area building supplies, it’s nice to see what others do at the same place. I’m usually parked next to the weigh bridge being unloaded by the forklifts. Have you heard how the yellow bars got bent like a banana on that weigh bridge?
Those chips in your windscreen would annoy me . Good to hear about your merch Jemma , with your talent for taking good photos a calendar would be ideal
Hi Jemma another enjoyable vid as always, and at least you had an easier tip on the second load and saved some time, also its crazy how they didn't find you a load for the return journey, also looking into your own merch sounds interesting will you be designing yourself a logo to go with your name, anyway hope you have a good weekend and an easy week at work.
Another good video Jem. That sheet looked a right pig. Often wondered what the tattoo on your left leg says? World P......... Can't quite read it on the various camera angles! 🤣
Loading @ Fussell Farms/Rode Haulage that's who I sub contract for, they've now got a KW blending plant installed as well as the soda wheat they do, Shaun is handy on that shovel. I don't think I've ever signed the weight bridge ticket to get out @ portbury 😬😄
Hey Gemma , I thought I was going to see you yesterday, Friday, in Shrewsbury, but it wasn't your truck , it was a Wains truck with a blower on but not you . Nevermind, better luck next time . Great stuff 👍🏻
Hello Jemma, can't you roll that tarpaulin back the way you opened it and then tighten the last part properly with the long tension strap? I also enjoy your videos and your open personality.👍 Greetings from the Netherlands! 🇳🇱
