Holy shit you nailed it in the beginning where you explained when you maintain consciousness while falling asleep and imagery from dreams connect to your reality somehow but they make no sense. There’s no way to create an equivalence to the images appearing and what it has to do with your life but you can feel these deep “knowings” with them. Man that happens to me a lot in both meditation and sleep. I didn’t realize anyone else had experienced this. I need to learn more about alchemy. still watching this vid!

I am a fan of Max Derrat. I admire his clarity and precision to introduce Junguian ideas to the general public, specially his video series about Jung's "Aion". I would like he will summarize the theory and book of Julian Jaynes about the origin of consciousness.

Interesting conversation here. You both had contrasting views that complimented each other very well. I could tell you were speaking from a more metaphysical frame of mind, and you're more willing to let your thoughts wander. Max speaks from a more material frame of mind, and really tries to center his thought.
So, as you wandered, Max would try to reel you back in. Conversely, as Max was locking into his rigidity, you presented more open modes of operation.
It was actually a very delightful display of alchemy.
Gardening or walking in nature will provide insight into some of these symbols - as will un-siloed study of ecology- the mother of all sciences in my opinion.
I think you're spot on! Seeing the interconnected Nature of the nature around us is insight provoking and can completely alter our perception; allowing us to go towards the deeper meaning of seemingly simple perennial symbols.
Taoism and their concept of alchemy and symbology, definitely give that sense to me. Especially with the concept of "Bian Hua"

I'm an artist. Lately I've been making sketches of mostly triangles and circles that represent healing and humanity. In trying to find out why I've started doing this, I've been researching and ended up here. I'm still not sure aboit it all but whatever it is I can't seem to stop or don't want to. It feels right. It feels weird to tell others.
