    The Nigerian community has to really look inwards. There's is a need for change. The culture of overconsumerism, lack of accountability of the faith elders, the excessive materialistic out look on life and the prosperity gospel has to change!
    This is a water shed moment.
    How was this ever allowed to happen in the name of church ?

    The Home Office has alot of questions to answer. How did he legally got married in the UK? He has no papers and the registry office usually report this matters to Immigration.

    • @ohguru
      @ohguru หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      He actually has the right to live in the UK but it is also provided in their immigration law that you are liable to deportation if you are convicted of any illicit charge that contravenes the right to leave status

    • @Lexie74746
      @Lexie74746 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @ohguru No, he doesn't have the right to live in the UK. His application was refused in 2019 and he then appealed against it. He lost at the recent tribunal hearing.

  • @Lexie74746

    His father and brother are both pastors. Tobi found a loophole in the UK system and he despicably used it for his advantage. Known facts
    1. He overstayed his visit visa
    2. He's an illegal immigrant
    3. Not enough evidence to prosecute the criminal allegations.
    He quite rightly should be deported.

  • @GgaskiaAta
    @GgaskiaAta หลายเดือนก่อน

    Pastor Tobi's story should be a lesson to Nigerian pastors abroad. Working with homeless, prison, drug addicts, etc comes with a LOT of RISKs. It is better if you do it as community service (not a church, not a pastor) and partner with local police, hospitals, substance abuse counselors. NEVER put yourself DIRECTLY in the midst of mentally unstable population. If they give offering of just $1 and return to their shelter and complain that someone took money from them, that will trigger city investigation, and if you pray and lay hands on them, if they complain that someone touched their head, it can trigger sexual assaults investigation. Don't operate abroad the same way you operate in Nigeria

    Your reasoning is a bit OFF, being a kitchen potter dose not mean you cannot earn wealth legally or become a pastor, but anyone from whatever background should not behave the way TOBI did. Above all Africans are known to show off as Wealthy when their situations improve financially. It is an African "THING" because they did not expect to be that wealthy. The wealth African acquire unexpectedly drives them "UP THE WALL". If you are wealthy why do you have to show Opulence or great wealth or luxuriousness in public. For Africans (i am using the word AFRICANS) deliberately in this context , wealth means "Higher Status in society" and was the major driver for TOBI's abhorrent behaviour.

    Psalm 14:1 KJV
    [1] The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, There is none that doeth good.
    My Sister, may your public rejection of Jesus not be played back to you someday when there'll be no more chance for repentance.
    I don't say this to you as a good or righteous person. Only God is good and he's real and western civilisation or knowledge is too small to diminish his existence. Many doubted God's warning like in the days of Noah until they were suddenly swallowed up by the great flood.
    Please trace your steps back to Jesus and save your soul. Study his word for yourself and he'll reveal himself to you. The lifestyle of Pastors are not a yardstick for measuring God's worthiness. Earthly life is temporal and Jesus is the only way to eternal life. God bless.
