for Osman's team, it really was them resolving an issue from step 1. For these guys, they've got the team, software, and hardware all set up. And also years of experience pulling off this exact thing.
SoKrispyMedia is an actual business that needs to be selling their VFX services. This video is a big marketing piece for them. They can't just go around and make it seem like they're disorganized all the time. William on the other hand has jankyness as his trademark.

I was so confused by how calm the participants were on the bridge considering how high they were even though they were falling in foam beds. I was like, DAMN, BRO, YA COULD DIE. I guess they just sold the effect that well. kudos

Full disclosure: I legit thought they were 100 feet in the air in the tug-of-war scene. It looked so real and I figured if anyone could manage that, it'd be Mr. Beast. Amazing job! I'd love to see more of this from TH-cam's biggest content creators.

Watched the squibs video yesterday - and then this one!! I didn't realize that Mr. Beast Squid Game was a collaborative effort ACROSS TH-cam!!! The amount of extremely talented people he employed for this is just beautiful! Y'all nailed it! I didn't think about the possibility of VFX really...ever 😅
I like how all types of TH-camrs collaborated to make this possible like you guys did the cgi, William Osman made the tech, and many TH-camrs as the guards
It's safe to say this is one of the most successful projects in TH-cam history.

I actually was convinced the tug of war stage was real and there was just netting below them. I can’t get over how much I can’t tell what’s real apart from what’s CGI on the video, truly incredible work.

@@phammo1 Mel Gibson’s Hacksaw Ridge was a phenomenal war film on just a budget of 30 million dollars. And that movie had loads of more CGI and practical effects than anything Mr. Beast used. It only makes sense that Jimmy can easily afford to build a two-story high set piece.

As a game developer who uses Unreal Engine all the time this was really cool to see. So incredible what you guys have done with it. Unreal is moving more in that direction and you guys nailed it perfectly. Seriously even people at Unreal(Epic Games) would be very happy with what you did.

I didn't expect this video to be literally just as entertaining, if not more so, than the actual video. Seriously, this was so cool to watch and so educational.
Bro the amount of reactions I’ve seen that were like “Woah. How huge is this place” and “Yo but what if they fall next to the foam pit. Holy shit” says it all. These VFX look so good that they fooled so many people into believing that’s what it actually looked like
The foam pit under the trap doors fooled me. I was thinking it was an actual safety measure. I would have thought it was CG if it was depicted as an actual massive pit, like I was able to tell for Tug of War. It’s funny that the CG foam pit passed right by me because it was believable. Now I’m wondering, where did they fall then? What was under the doors in the actual set? More foam maybe? Maybe not as high of a fall.

I actually watched this challenge a day ago and was so worried if they would fall over lol great quality I thought the stages were real , great job.

I wasn't even able to SPOT that it was CG in any way! I expected colour grading but when I saw the sets for the Glass Bridge and Tug of War, I initially thought it was done with some clever mirror placement or something so god... damn, you guys nailed this one! I'm studying VFX at the moment and trying to get into the industry, looks like I've gotta train my eyes a bit more lol

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that a small production team made as many CGI shots as the friggin MATRIX in only 10 days.. Bravo. 👏👏
Yeah but these shots were a LOT more simple than the ones from Matrix. They only had to make a 3D model of the background, 3D track the camera and composite it in the footage using Luma Key and manual masking. Which is tedious, but really easy.
