When a monkey's fist would use too much line. This looks great and the "star" + Matthew Walker knots can easily add or subtract strands for decorative flair!
I've got a wellersoldering iron that has a tip for cutting rope.. because it melts as it cuts, you don't get that "mushroom head". If you want to get even more , put tape around either side of the cut before cutting...
This is a beautiful skill! Suppose you need the ball for regular ball activities, though... can you design a quick release that's secure but makes it easy to remove or replace the ball inside?
AWESOME! But first, I need to train my brain to get as much patient as You are Sir ^_^ Unfortunatly, my dog is 12 years old (already) and, is only interested by having long walks rather than playing like young dogs do ^_^ Thank You very much Sir, Greetings from France ^_^

Up at 4am and I have my coffee watching your videos!
THAT is quality content right there!!
Have a great weekend F.C.A. and everyone else!!
Excellent. I really appreciate the regular length videos that can truly demonstrate a project. 👍👍
_I don't waste my time watching shorts._
If I ever made something like that i wouldn't let my dog anywhere near it!! :D
Thank you for this.
If I wanted to do the same thing with a very large beach ball, I presume I would need to do something different?

Nicely done. Thank you for sharing. Wish you well.
New FCA videos are instant clicks lol
This is great, how would you braid and terminate a tube instead of a flat braid?
try a sennit or grafting
I would have done a round braid. The video was getting too long, so I just did a simple braid. A round braid is much more complicated.
That first step, the "hibiscus" 😊, that's just a 6 cord crown knot, like you'd do for back-splicing laid rope, right?

Brilliant, absolutely perfect!!! Thanks so much for sharing this nugget, check is in the mail!
I don't know if your dog likes to return the ball but it would have been nice to watch your dog go after it and enjoy it.
where did you get those MASSIVE scissors?
Looks like this is the model: Fiskars 710150-1001 PowerArc Shears
Well done 😁👍I did something similar many years ago, this brings back lots of memories 😆🤣🤣 thanks take care stay safe. Spam 🤓🤪🤣🤣🤣👍
Why a flat plait instead of circular?

It failed to work. 😢 No dog brought it back.
You failed to be funny, no one laughed.
@@james1795 It's sad, not funny.
@@lightdark00. True. Sad for you that you are not funny.
@@james1795 Not sad for me. It's empathy for him that his throw were not returned.
i have a hard time following your 2 minute videos of a single knot, no way I am going to even watch this as no dog is worth that much effort
