Long Story Short; I had a bullet journaling craze last year around January, and I wanted to do a bullet journal so bad, my mom got a bullet journal for me, and I did bullet journaling for like 9 months or so, then i stopped it after the 9 months, and didn't even write my goals, daily stuff I've done etc. But then this year I saw YOUR video and just got that craze again *Nostalgic* You are such an amazing person ❤️ you made it possible for me to do bullet journaling AGAIN! A content planner setup shown here, is the basic reason why I wanted to buy myself a dotted journal. I realized that I wanted to help myself keep track of my writing, from idea, to draft, to edits, to preview/publishing. And I figured that grids and tracking would work great with that. Thank you for the spread idea!
Before watching your videos, I didn't find a planner that I liked and never understood the other youtubers who made their planners. Basically although I wanted to organize my life, I didn't know how. But you are the first youtuber that I understood what you were talking about and liked how you did your planner. It is very simple but efficient, so that a beginner like me can understand. I’m a planner person myself (just set my cleaning schedule for 2021). Picking the perfect planner is such a important pick. I went with the Living Well Planner this year, but I love seeing other planners. ❤️ love your set up
don’t feel pressured to be too fancy!! bujos are meant to be functional, so don’t overwhelm yourself with planning out complicated spreads! just begin with a few simple spreads and work up from there. literally just do whatever you want :))
Wow I am LOVING the vibes of your set up!!! I always try to keep the initial setup pages more minimal by only using one accent colour, but I love how you've managed to use multiple subtle colours while keeping the neutral feel!
Your content spread looked like it'd be pretty easy to adjust for a teacher to plan lessons and plan what in general to be taught in each week/month. As a future educator I am always looking at what I can use in the now and what I can use in the future too.

Hi Amanda! I was so excited to start my very first bullet journal for the coming year. I put a lot of research and thought into how i wanted to set it up. When I went into town a couple days ago to buy a journal, i experienced a setback: I searched four stationary stores and all i could find were dotted notebooks with 80gsm pages. I debated for a while but i really wanted to get started. So i finally settled with a Leuchtturm journal. The disappointment was imminent but i had to find out for myself: I cannot for the life of me handle all that ghosting. So today I said: Screw this. I'd rather start a few weeks late but with a journal that's gonna bring me lasting joy. So two minutes ago i made my first purchase in your very own shop :) The shipping to Switzerland might take a while, but hey, I like to support the woman who taught me bullet journaling :) Thanks!

Now, 4 years later, I can say that I'm a lot more artistic than I was before, thanks to you! I have done journals and planners like this when I was a child. Now for years I have used the Happy Planner but I am thinking of going back to this style so I can make it more my own😊
When writing out monthly calendar, I find it very helpful to write it down vertically first, like 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, then you fill out the week horizontally. This way you are much less likely to skip or repeat a date and if you do, you'd catch yourself much earlier on.
I really love the colors and theme you have used for the bullet journal!! It's not too bright or dark, just the perfect colors for the bullet journal. It also is like a productive color vibe. I love it!!! 😍

i do calligraphy, it doesn’t change she just did it in a more simplistic manner to the beginners haha

Your content spread looked like it'd be pretty easy to adjust for a teacher to plan lessons and plan what in general to be taught in each week/month. As a future educator I am always looking at what I can use in the now and what I can use in the future too.

Hi Amanda! I was so excited to start my very first bullet journal for the coming year. I put a lot of research and thought into how i wanted to set it up. When I went into town a couple days ago to buy a journal, i experienced a setback: I searched four stationary stores and all i could find were dotted notebooks with 80gsm pages. I debated for a while but i really wanted to get started. So i finally settled with a Leuchtturm journal. The disappointment was imminent but i had to find out for myself: I cannot for the life of me handle all that ghosting. So today I said: Screw this. I'd rather start a few weeks late but with a journal that's gonna bring me lasting joy. So two minutes ago i made my first purchase in your very own shop :) The shipping to Switzerland might take a while, but hey, I like to support the woman who taught me bullet journaling :) Thanks!
ILYSM Amanda!! 2021 is going to be my 4th year of bullet journaling. I actually started when I watched your September 2017 plan with me and now I'm hooked! Now, 4 years later, I can say that I'm a lot more artistic than I was before, thanks to you! When I started out I just had a random notebook and a gel pen, but my style has evolved just like yours (maybe more considering I was TERRIBLE at 9 years of age lol)
I just love the “folder” in the journal! I put scotch tape on the tabs to strenghten them. I’m fond of journaling again, hope this year I will be able to keep this great habit 🙈

I have done journals and planners like this when I was a child. Now for years I have used the Happy Planner but I am thinking of going back to this style so I can make it more my own😊
When writing out monthly calendar, I find it very helpful to write it down vertically first, like 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, then you fill out the week horizontally. This way you are much less likely to skip or repeat a date and if you do, you'd catch yourself much earlier on.
For the book, the seven husbands of evelyn hugo is literally the best book i have read in 2020
