Wild camping on a frozen mountain summit in subzero winter conditions sounds like a lot of fun… right? What about adding lacerating spindrift, freezing fog and strong winds with a chill factor of -12 degrees? Or, how about a slip and fall into a frozen lochan with a rucksack weighing over 20kg?
Join Hubert, Coops and I on another landscape photography and wild camping adventure in the rough bounds of Galloway as we hike up Meikle Millyea (741m) through deep snow in the hopes of finding some new and exciting locations to make photographs. Things didn’t quite go to plan!

Thanks Dave, I'm sure you'll enjoy it, I've read it a fair few times! By contrast, Hamish MacInnes' books on rescues are much more 'action based' and gung-ho with that typical MRT Stoicism, brilliant stuff! Braemar MRT also have a book which is great. Would love to read some more as they are fantastic resources for learning.
