    My home's water filtration system utilizes a UV light to kill any little creature wanting to hang out in my water. Also have one for my A/C unit that kills anything in the air going thru the system.

    Great review, thank you. I just bought a JP50 in March before our trip to Moab. I considered the VL45ProS, but liked the footprint of the JP50 better. I am very happy with the JP50, but I wish this would have been available when I made my purchase. The pre-order price you mention is actually less than I paid for my JP50. People looking for a fridge should buy this for sure.

    Would of like to see you look more at the quality of the handles. Can you use them to strap down or take the big one off if not needed so it doesn't rattle? Can you take the wheels off?

    The UV light is designed to generate ozone in the air. Ozone oxidizes everything. I hope they used rubber gaskets that are ozone resistant.

    Im curious why you go with the Pro series compared to the other series of IceCo fridges. And whats the diff between the JP series compared to the others. Ive heard of IceCo before and Im def looking into getting one in the very near future, I watched your other video of Setpower but I really want an IceCo. I was checking out the VL series and wondering what makes them all different.

      I love the design and the lids opening on both sides of the pro series. We have the VL60 dual zone (non pro) in our camper and it’s excellent too.

    Hey, Matt! Fellow Arkansan here, my wife and I love watching your videos! Just a quick question. I have a Ford raptor and recently purchased a Dometic fridge. Right now I have a tonneau cover to keep it dry and relatively dust free, but I am planning on getting a RTT soon and i cant decide if I want to go with a bed cap or bed rack. I think i would prefer a rack, but i am concerned about the fridge (and Ecoflow delta mini) getting wet and dusty/muddy. Especially when i am parked and its raining. What has your experience been with running a fridge(specifically a dometic) mounted in the bed essentially leaving it open to the elements, rain, dust, mud, etc while running a rack? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    • @OzarkOverlandAdventures
      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I've never run a Dometic in the bed of my Gladiator but my IceCo VL75pro has been in the bed for over a. year through all weather types and it's doing great.

    The fridge will run 4.5 hours on that 250 Wh battery pack. 250 divided by 55watts (what the fridge draws).

    • @OzarkOverlandAdventures
      @OzarkOverlandAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      But you're leaving out the fact that the fridge compressor doesn't run non stop. It cycles on and off which is why a 500wh power station will run it for 2 days and not just 10 hours.
