I remember when this song came out, around 2001 or 2002. '01 I think. But sadly it never received the airplay or the attention it deserved. She was like a one hit wonder.

It spent 3 weeks at the top of the charts, but it didn't win any awards like it should have. She was set for super stardom, but didn't like all the crap that came with it. We lost 20 years of incredible music (and watching her adorable videos) from her.

Occasionally I’ll hear something brilliant like ‘Need You Now’ or ‘Sunny and Seventy Five’ or ‘Last Call’ or ‘Wrecking Ball’ and I add them in but it doesn’t happen often. Does anyone else miss it? As Connie Smith calls it, ‘the cry of the heart’? Fiddles, steel…where are they? Where is country music for the people who don’t go muddin’ or open a beer at 11am? At this point, I’d take this song and songs like it over what I hear now.

Love this song and the rest of the My World album! She's one of those great female artists from the early 00's that kind of just came and went, along with Carolyn Dawn Johnson, Jamie O'Neal, Kellie Coffey, and Jennifer Hanson. I miss hearing new music from each of them. I know I'd much rather hear them over 95% of what's on the radio today.

عشيقتي سايندي ثومسون الغالية أنا مُحمّد صادق عُبَيدِ الكُبَيسيُّ الإمامُ المهديُّ المنتظر عليكِ وعليّ من اللّٰهِ الصّلاة والسّلام أمّا بعدُ : فإنّهُ من المُمكِنِ تحويلُ المناطقِ الصحراويّةِ في العالمِ إلى أراضٍ زراعيّةٍ خصبةٍ عن طريقِ الإستفادةِ من زراعة أنواعٍ من الأشواكِ والعاقول الّذي تتغذّىٰ عليه الإبلُ، حسب طبيعة التُّربة والمناخ لتلك المناطقِ ومدى بُعدُها أو اقتِرابُها من خطّ غرينيتش ، طبعاً إنّ اللّٰهَ سُبحانهُ وتعالىٰ لم يخلقِ الأشواك عبثاً بل لحكمةٍ عظيمةٍ فجُذورها تمتصُّ من التُّربةِ الصحراويّة المركّبات الملحيّة والزجاجيّة المانِعة للخصوبة والإنبات لِلأشجار المُثمرة التي تخلّصُنا من ثاني أكسيد الكربون الّذي يسبّبُ الإحتباسَ الحراريّ في كُرتِنا الأرضيّة ، وإذا قُمنا بِِخطوةٍ رائعةٍ أُخرى وهي إعادةُ تأهيلِ جميعِ البحارِ والأنهار والمحيطاتِ حول العالمِ ، أي تنظِيفُها من الملوّثات والمخلّفات العضويّة لِلإنسانِ ودَفنِها بطريقةٍ صِحّيّةٍ تحتَ الأشواكِ ؛ فيزدادُ الخيرُ في البرّ والبحرِ...!!! وستنشَطُ السّياحةُ وسيحلُو الهواءُ والمناخ والبيئة لِكلا البرّ والبحرِ... وستبدأ التربة الصّحراويّةُ مع زراعتِنا لِهذهِ الأشواكِ في كلّ مَوسِمٍ من مَواسمِ الزّراعةِ ، يتغيّر لونُها من الأبيضِ إلى البُنيّ الدّاكنِ...؟!! لِيُصبح كوكبُنا الأرضيُّ عبارةً عن مُرُوجٍ خضراءَ...!!! وستكثرُ الماشِيةُ والطُّيورُ المُهاجِرة في مناطِقنا...!!! خُصُوصاً مناطقِ الجزيرة العربيّة ، ومِصداقُ كلامي هذا هو قولُ رسولِ اللّٰهِ صلّىٰ اللّٰهُ عليهِ وسلّمَ :- ( لا تقومُ السّاعةُ حتّىٰ تعودَ أرضُ الجزيرة مروجاً خضراءَ ) وبالتّالي سوف يتمُّ استغلالُ الطّاقةِ الشمسيّةِ الهائلةِ في بلادِ الخليج العربي وفي غيرِها من بلادِ العالمِ الّتي تُعاني من الغُبارِ الّذي يُعِيقُ هذهِ العمليّة الإنتاجيةَ للطّاقةِ البديلةِ والصديقة للبيئة في فُصُولِ السّنةِ... ٠٠٩٦٥٩٩٨٩١٦٠٨

UPDATE: He showed up as I arrived to walk down the aisle, he wanted to stop me and I wanted him to, but he said nothing. I asked him was there something he wanted to say and he again chickened out and could not commit. So I went down the aisle and got married. Now he says I broke his heart and I should have read his mind. He had that invitation for three months. He shows up as I am about to go in, does not tell me what he drove over 5 hours dressed up to tell me and let’s me go. But it’s my fault.
I knew I was marrying the wrong person. He started to show his true self in the month before the wedding and bride’s are supposed to be happy that day, not miserable. I put my whole heart into that marriage and it was good for a while but then he changed, became abusive and left me for a girl 40 years younger than him. But the guy who stood on the steps to stop me and didn’t... refused to talk to me because I broke his heart. Well, what did you come for if you were not going to say it? A part of me still loves them both but I don’t cry when I listen to this song anymore. I don’t do gaslighting! If they let you go, let them!

Everytime I watch this video I'm amazed at how much of a doppelganger she is to my now wife. Everything almost exactly the same (my wife's eyes are blue, not green). So when I'm out of town missing my wife, I sometimes watch this to feel closer to her. Told a friend my wife used to be a country singer and showed him this video, he thought it was her!
