      Oh yes! With all the neutrals we've been bombarded with some colour would be nice, especially a smokey version.

    I have eczema as well, specifically on my face and lately my eyelids have been very irritated and sensitive. I put a thin layer of aquaphor on them and under eyes at night before bed. It’s helped a lot 🙂

    • @Utriedit215
      @Utriedit215 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I find that it works even better if you use a water-based eye cream first and then put the Aquaphor on top

    I have eczema on my eyelids too. I recently got castor oil (pure cold pressed) for lashes but found it has been amazing on the flare ups too! It’s so hard to find something that helps and doesn’t burn or irritate the skin.

    Love the look I will definitely try it out. In terms of eczema usually caused by heat, dust and sometimes what you eat, what I usually did was to sometimes damp the eyes with a cold cloth or if it still takes time to stop try antibiotics they completely stop them. Hope this will be helpful :)

    An! I have the same problem with eczema on my eyelids. Personally, I think mine was caused by my foundation which had coconut oil in it.. but what helped for me was using Derma-E eczema relief cream. Works wonders! Look into Ocusoft lid scrub. It comes in little pads or a foam. My ophthalmologist recommended it. Helps maintain healthy eyes, helps rid eyelids of contaminants that causes irritation and leaves eyelids soft. Then I tap on simple Vaseline to protect at night when eyelids are super dry.

    He there darlin….first….I love that you opened up about your struggles with eczema. It really can be such a devastating thing to live with. Especially for women. That may sound dated and perhaps sexist , but women are still judged by a much higher and crueler standard when it comes to their looks. It’s shouldn’t still be that way….but this is reality. For a woman like yourself who is actually a part of the beauty industry and in front of the camera there are even greater pressures. It is so rad that you made this video even without looking or feeling your best. I think it sets you apart and makes you come across as the real, flawed and beautiful person you are. It’s brave for you to be so raw and exposed in front of your audience. Women young and old (especially adolescent girls) are trying to live up to a standard of beauty that doesn’t exist outside of social media. In a world where it takes algorithms to create that literally unattainable standard of beauty we need a voice that says “I have flaws that I don’t like, that’s normal. I may not always feel like it, but I am beautiful. “ True beauty hides in some of our flaws. It’s beautiful that you opened up about something so personal with your viewers. I like how natural and authentic you were about your struggles with eczema. I could hear the sincerity and even your pain just in your voice. You are beautiful!!!… eczema breakouts or not. Please…keep being yourself and continue show the men and women who watch your videos what the most impactful kind of beauty really looks like! ✌🏽✌🏽

    The czema has to ve from makeup, remover or your brushes. Maybe your allergic to the brush wash. Try using a cotton pad spray w water to make damp then use apple cider vinegar and dab lightly the affected area. Also u can try honey. Use a q tip and coat ur lid and let it sit for as long as u can then use a warm washcloth to removed. Dnt wash it. Probably better at nite.

    The winter time is usually worse for eczema. Hot water is not good no matter where it is on your body.

  • @chelseyali
    @chelseyali 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    I had eczema on my hand for the past 4-5 years and would always use topical steroids but that is just a band aid fix and does nothing to actually heal the eczema. My eczema has significantly improved (I would say >80% reduction) over just the past 2-3 MONTHS by changing my diet and it is still continuing to improve (I also see an improvement in cystic acne and period pain from what is likely endometriosis). It feels unreal!! I am on an elimination diet(started off by eating only anti-inflammatory foods, mainly vegetables, legumes, quinoa, for 1-2 months - cutting out dairy, gluten, sugar, non grass fed/nonorganic beef/meats, GMO products and more. Then slowly reintroducing a food one at a time to see if it is a trigger). It helps a lot to make a food diary. I now incorporate more vegetables (brocolli, arugula, kale, cauliflower, etc) into my daily meals and cook all my meals at home which is a radical change from my previous diet of eating processed foods and buying food out every week. I also take daily omega 3 and vitamin D supplements (So far, I've found that dairy(likely due to cow hormone and all the stuff they feed/medicate the cow with that is not meant for human consumption), gluten (I believe the grains in the modern society are not what they used to be, they are probably processed and/or genetically modified), and soy (is highly estrogenic) are triggers. I am in the phase of reintroducing foods so it really is a process of trial and error and does take discipline and time but it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. So you could be right about having a food allergy. I highly recommend that you research the elimination diet and how food affects eczema because it allows you to take your health into your own hands and it is a highly personalized approach!
    Sorry this was long, I just wanted to help you and anyone who is struggling with eczema, because doctors are usually not looking to heal you!
