Would the persons LLC need to be already in place having all of the following below :
1) LLC Name
2) LLC business address
3) LLC business phone number
4) DUNS Number
5) BIN Number
6) NIACS Code
7) SAM.Gov account for UEI Number ???
Should person also have couple reporting tradelines open reporting upon payment history before applying to the SAM.Gov or Grant.Gov sites respectively here ?
Or this would be for another business that is set up with its very own EIN Number etc for applying to what you spoke upon to have a hat in the government pot for any contracts if person so chooses to apply ?
And a general question when filing out any application for business credit and funding should applicant ALWAYS provide their DUNS Number on each application ?
What shouldn't a person say or place on ANY business credit or funding application ? And what sources are out there which can be used as a PROFESSIONAL BUSINESS ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER ?

How do I NOT list myself as the principal on my Dunns #. Defeats purpose of creating my LLC with anonymity. Can I list my registered agent ? I can’t find anything on this online. You’ve provided great info new sub!

Thank you for this educational information. I do register with Nav about 6 months ago and do like the fact that they report to Equifax and Experian, but they haven’t report to Dun and Bradstreet. Any tips how to get my business credit report for free from Duns with out having to pay any money. I have also used net 30 like Uline, Ohana office supplies, and Nav wish I Im pay the $39 dollars and still none have never report Duns. Thank you ❤

I’m a new small business owner an I’m trying to get a Duns number it’s hard to get through an I really don’t know where to turn to start getting credit for my business need help
How long on average have they taken to issue the UEI?

Do I need to have my own business to build my credit
It depends what kind of credit you want to build. You can always build your personal credit and take credit cards out on that.
Some people even run their business through their personal credit, but it is not advised.
