CZ would be way more popular in the US if they advertised more
Do love CZs!! Bought my first one for $150.00 and sold it unfortunately 😢
so expensive though.
@@nickjenkins1663 the polymer options are some of the best values you can find
Nobody else needs to know.
My CZ cost me about 800 in NJ
Owned guns for nearly 50 years, and had a glock for 30 of those. Bought my first glock in 1994 and still have it. But my favorite right now is a smith and wesson 686 plus. At least for handguns.
Nice choice. But the python is so much cooler gramps.
@@CT-qz4trpython is a bit overrated
@CT-qz4tr the old pythons sure, but the new colts aren't worth it
@@CT-qz4tr, at least it’s more expensive
Same here, 686 +😊
One of the first high power rifles I bought in 1980 was a Remington Model 742 in 3006. It only came with a three shot magazine, but aftermarket 10 round plastic and steel magazines were available. I bought a few of each. Keep Prepping my friends.
That's a fun rifle! That's what my dad bought to hunt with in the early 80's and I still have it and shoot it sometimes. Tried to rapid fire it on video but it didn't like that and stove piped. lol
Have you bought any other higher capacity rifles
I’ve had a couple of those. But never a 3 round magazine. The standard was 5 rounds
@@santamanone I have one, and have worked on two others (30-06 and .270). They're all 4-round mags. And when you look it up, the standard is 4 rounds.
@@paulis7319 you’re correct. 4 round mags with one in the chamber is what I was thinking. Sorry.
I have recently purchased a Canik, now it's my favorite handgun. A little large for E.D.C. but I carry it everytime I can.
Sorry to hear that
Glocks sell quick but she has also said in the past , Glocks were the most traded in brand. Many buy based on the hype and then realize after shooting other brands their friends own that it is mostly just hype. That is why I recommend finding a friend that has choices you can try or find a range that rents multiple options and brands. Find what fits you best before buying if at all possible.
Yep, Glocks just fit my hand perfectly, mag release located just right. My wife can't grip it properly or drop the magazine without fumbling with the pistol. Other than that, the things are blocky and don't conceal well.
I think the main reason she said was that people bought it and didnt realized it didnt have a safety. Theres no hype when its used by seals, CAG, Rangers, Marsoc, PJ's, green berets and other elite forces.
never found any ammo that Glock couldn't fire
@@hectorrivera6624That is what she said.
What WASN'T said but matters the most is that you don't need a safety because your holster is the only thing you need in that regard.
Having your gun outside of the holster doesn't need a safety on it because you should never have a loaded gun out of the holster unless you're looking to use it.
@@ClickClack_Bam Agree. I was replying to the guy that said they were bought and traded due to hype. I prefers my guns without safeties. Only my 1911's and M17 have safeties. My Glocks and P229 dont have nor need safeties.
Who made the Hellcat? Grumman. Shows how old I am.
Big brands gives you something else, options for accessories. There are many great handguns. Good luck finding a good holster or extra magazines for them though. If you plan to carry, fit and quality accessories are very important.
I own the 43x as my everyday carry, best concealed carry weapon I’ve ever had
I have a 43x also, perfect mix of concealment and function, great choice.
@@joeh1687 How do you compare it to the Glock 26 for concealment and function?
@@ToubaYouness Well, I've never had a Glock 26 so I can't compare, but personally I don't like the Glocks with the stubby little grips like the 26... one of the things I like most about the 43x is it has a full grip while still being compact. It also has a slimmer profile... but in the end it's a personal choice, whatever has the best fit for you personally.
I like the 48. My dad carriers the 43x though.
Yea. Perfection.
Get a Bersa, all metal, was recommended by a police officer, his parents own a gun shop. Have 3, 2 full size & 1 compact, sights interchange with sig sights. Going on 9 yrs, "no problems", just bought their full sized 9mm competition, has sig style adjustable rear sights, shoots the wings off of flies at 15 + yards. So there !
Own a Bersa 380 Plus. Love it, double stack mag (16 rds). Shoots great, no problems.
Have 3 Bersas! All solid..
Gun Owner/buyer since 1974. Never owned or considered a Glock. My brother drank the Koolaid and bought several of them. They were all sold in 6 months.
My carry is the Springfield first gen XDs 4.0 9 mm. It’s a great single stack. Don’t own a Glock. Never will.
How can you not love Maggie...the internet Loves you Maggie.
Clint Smith sayings if you going to buy 1 by 3 instead 1 to use 2 is better than 1 and the 3rd for spare parts. And if you have a revolver and a moon clip forget the moon clip and have second revolver.
I like Ruger.. dependable firarms
I can remember when Springfield was hated for being anti 2A some years back.
they still are by many! I know people who will only buy used springfields for that matter!
Lots of people in Illinois should remember this.
Still won't buy any
@@RobertKinne-lh8wn Not even a Hellcat?
Got the Saint Victor awesome rifle .
Love my Bersa. Economical, light, but feels strong. Easy to clean, and shoot.
Thunder plus for me.
Thank you GFG keep up the firearm content.
The most popular pistol on the planet!
Maggie.. I held a Glock in my hand at my LGS here in Socialist Californistan..decided to get a Sig SP2022 DA/SA with a decocker.
My daily carry for 4years now.
It’s not just “brand”, it’s also compatibility. My 9mm rifle takes Glock mags, so it’s nice to pair it with a Glock/compatible pistol so they can share magazines.
When she said 'Who made the Hellcat?' my 1st thought was Grumman for the F6F Hellcat, then HS Produkt d.o.o.
There is a Dodge too :p
Grumman made the Hellcat. It’s been outdated for 80 years. :)
Glock is not popular here in Florida, sig is the hot one.
That's because sigs have that awesome self firing feature 😅
Lever action flies off the shelf where I shop.
Sig P365’s are the # 1 handgun gun I am selling in my store followed by the Glock 43X….Ruger LCP MAX is after those two.
Do you do a PoPo discount? Online store?
I love my p365xl and my ruger lcp max
Once had an ATF agent mad at me because her officers would call it a Springfield. I asked her if she wanted me to input incorrect information in the gunbook.
They have nothing better to do
How about my Old Colt AR-15 Match Target cal .223? I brought it long time ago and I love it. I came from the state of CT and Colt is my favorice. We have factory in Hartford that made a lots of firearms way back in 1800.
I would love to stop by the dealership, but I live in southern california😢
Simple solution: MOVE
@craigpennington1251 I'm trying, my wife won't let me leave california 😔
Just pick up my hellcat gear up package it includes hell cat pistol stainless and 5 15 rd mag for $500
I got the same package in stainless steel 😮💨 love this thing
If take mag sleeve off 15 rd mag and put on 17 rd mag you can use 17 rd mags in your he'll cat or call Springfield and the will sell you 15 rd mag spacers for $6 each I carry mine with 17 rd mag
I own a Glock 43, not 43X. That gun carries 11 rounds all day. Magazine capacity can be changed in a heartbeat, yet can be adapted to pocket carry with 7 round Magazine. Parts are readily available.
Speaking of Brands; what are some of the "best guns" that no one knows about? The unsung heroes of firearms!
Im almost 67 never been a fan of glock and never will. My carry gun.....Smith model 36 or my Colt 1911 with 8 round mag.....bought a canik for price and im impressed with it....I like my cz75 better but only because ive shot it for over 25 years.
I bought a glock 43, the only one ive ever owned and traded it in 6 weeks for a Ruger six plus cash. I prefer wheel guns to autos anyway.
Staccato, Alchemy Custom Weapon, Nighthawk Custom, Ed Brown, LTT Beretta from Langdon site, Colt special. Or even HK P2000 - the most underrated HK
Taurus G series guns really take off here where I'm at in Florida!😃
Remember the Dirty Harry Movies and the Smith & Wesson Model 29 flew off the shelf, after they fired them they went back to the gun stores
I like Taurus.
When I bought my Taurus G series, the big box store I ordered literally sold about a dozen of them at the same time I went to pick mine up. It's a very solid budget sidearm.
Love my GX4
They're definitely a solid value in a capable pistol.
They’re OVERPRICED 💩 !
I really like Springfield Armory.
Who made the Hellcat?
Grumman.
Beretta
And it's hella fun to fly!
Or Dodge
Funny my dad worked for northrop for 45 yrs or so , the stealth he brought home cool stuff
Glock
The ones I have had very good experiences with (that I own and have actually used) are Browning, Springfield, HK, Smith & Wesson, and a Rock Island Armory .38 Special snub nose revolver.
I bought a hellcat rdp when it forst came out. I enjoy it but I gave it to my wife and went back to my glock 19 gen 5 and am perfectly happy. Shes happy, its a win win.
Try finding a used Marlin 336 or a Mossberg 500!
Funny. I have a bunch of Glocks. Literally 5 model 19s. The last one(Glock) I purchased was a G34 Gen5 MOS. Honestly don't ever see myself needing or wanting another from the brand.
Same with Sigs and P226/229 & 365. Nope. Good.
Yesterday (Wednesday May 8) I was passing a shop and decided to stop running between jobs. Came home with a Shield Plus OR (which I never considered before) because the $ was ridiculously low. Figure I'll run it and see what I think.
Do you not do prepay on firearms? I was doing that in the 80s for things (Glocks, mostly) that were sometimes hard to get in stock. Fully refundable 50% down, and you're on the list in order they arrive.
Always enjoy your videos with this delightful lady.
I've noticed at my local shops that the hot commodity appears to be anything .32. One of them got a Kel-Tec P-32 (I do not know how they ended up with only one P-32); they put it out in the morning, and by the end of the day it was gone.
Has anyone else noticed this?
Yes I have beretta tomcat 32
Ammo price isn't worth the squeeze for the punch you get out of that. round.
@@nolagospeltracts8264 Depends what you need it for.
If all you need is for the other guy to change his behavior towards you, it might be just the ticket.
@@PhycoKrusk I own an old 32 semi auto but it's just not practical to train and practice with. You get more value for your dollar out of 9mm. If I'm going spend that kind of bread on ammo, I'll just go with .40 or 45
@@nolagospeltracts8264 Again, it depends what you need it for. If you don't need it beyond 2 yards - that is, all you need it to do is get somebody off and away from you - you don't need that much practice, and the practice you need most is to smoothly draw and present.
This is not what _you,_ specifically, need a gun to do, so you opt for a different caliber that better suits your needs.
Grumman made the F6F Hellcat
And Dodge did the Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody. So there. 😉
Never want a glock! Had to carry one as a duty weapon and will never carry another.
Ahhh Springfield......the only large gun company that has never designed a gun.
Own a 1873 trap door 45.70. Still shoots.
I gotta say I am feeling canik right now nice triggers out the box and my 2 have been reliable
My TP9 and MC9 have had no issues, great trigger and sights are spot on
Not me ! I go by price and past great experiences with lesser known companies! Ruger , Mossberg and now IWI ! MC2C and MC2SC and the Security 9 and now the Masada’s! All great guns without the exorbitant prices !
you should do a show and tell of the more exotic gun at the shop.... a shop tour would be awesome!
Brand name recognition gets that way because the "quality" is (usually) built in. Who's going to buy "CheaperGuys" guns if they have the reputation of falling apart.
Please advise where the "quality" is in any GD GLUNK JUNK??
When she mentioned the Taurus G2C that was exactly what I was thinking. It's awfully HARD to forget the video of one of their 24/7 pistols 'doing the shake-fire' and not have that infamous imagery and distrust automatically transfer onto later designs.
Only reason I bought a SIG was due to the fact that I grouped with it so much better than Glock S&W or Springfield. Just felt so good and shot so well.
I have a number of other branded firearms. I purchased my G19 a year or so ago. And I can agree with several others that say the big G is not as out of the box ready as other brands. After adding a mag release extension, extended slide lock bar and upgrading the trigger I now love it. But out of the box.......meh!
I am not very connected to the industry trends, but as a layman I recently bought a Glock 19 without much issue. It was in stock at the 2 places I went.
I bought four Glocks in a row, but I finally kicked the addiction, I recently purchased a Sig P-320 compact 45acp : )
You will be back to Glock. Give it time.
@@baronvonsnazzy3355 No, I am all stocked up on Glocks. Maybe if they make a new generation and fix the blocky grips (which they should have done years ago) I might be persuaded to buy another. Thanks for your reply.
Wish I was closer, the Colt 9mm sounds like a great gun to have in your collection.
"Stuff with the best advertising wins." Maggie Yoda. Beta was far superior to VHS, but you know who won that war. Sony kept a choke hold on their rights to the Beta format and JVC shared the VHS format. Game/set/match.
BOSE.
Hey hey! I won’t have no hellcat down-talk. It’s a phenomenal gun. Just have to take the time to learn it
I love my hellcat
You know, name brands that have proven themselves over the years and years to go bang when you pull the trigger.......every time are what people want. Sigs are famous for doing their beta testing by selling them to the public and waiting for the complaints. You go with what you trust.
ID not count the DD h9 in that...
Well the Sig P226 has been out for enough years to have all bugs to be worked out.
@@J.Young808 True especially for the price of a metal frame sig...Id say unless ur buying a Classic Most Brands Don't mean as much as they used to.
Girsan Regard is an amazing Turkish clone of a Beretta 92. Should have bought one before the Canadian ban on new hand guns came out in October '22
Croatia made firearms are amazing especially XD series.
Made better than Glock due to fact they use better materials and their pistols are built like tanks.
You can fire 45 super out of 45 acp XD service model without any mods while glock will break.
I have one since 2011 ansmd never had a single feed issue or any other..HS is quality company and never forget where Nikola Tesla was born as well.
Just, they break.😂😂😂. Sure buddy. Thats why they have that reliability reputation.
I’ve shot over 400 rounds of hardcast through my XDM 10mm stock barrel with no problems. Underwood’s, buffalo bore, double tap, federal premiums solid core. My buddy is a Glock owner. his G20 jammed every other round 🤷🏽♂️ Springfield gets a lot of hate but xdm elite line is superior to any Glock 😎
@@disposable_hero2748 I remember back in the day when the XDM was supposed to be the Glock killer. I didnt know they were still making them.
Guns are just tools guys, a well rounded shooter can pickup any gun and take care of business. Cheap but good guns have their place too, like an evidence locker. Would you rather have your Colt 1911 setting in evidence for 3 years or your Taurus?
That's why I buy two of my carry gun.
Got that sog set long time ago from son with the shovel and knifes etc have so many to choose from 25 -357 mag to 45 acp Glock to 43x etc
Who made the hellcat Dodge challenger hellcat
I understand because I am a Walther fan boy
I have a Armalite AR-24 9mm clone Of the CZ 57 shoots great and nobody has heard of it. They also made a semi automatic shotgun. Trying to find one of those.
KAC No marketing flies off the shelf two year backlog breaks this video is logic
Was wondering if you ever shot the new Caracal F series.
I do t live around there so I’m out and good luck on your surgery buddy may GOD bless you buddy !!
Used them all, give me a browning hi-power any day even the cz copy is nice.
I wouldn’t watch these videos if it wasn’t for her bright and beautiful personality.
You don’t even get too many comments but NEVER take the time to throw a ♥️out there. What’s up with that???
I gotta agree with the “has to be a SIG” mindset 😀
Are Kimbers really as bad as I've been hearing? Anybody out there had one that was a piece of junk and is there anyone that has one that runs flawlessly with any type of ammo?
Mine runs flawless and it's a Kimber LW 1911.
@@andyjohnson6855 caliber? How many rnds have you run through it?
I have 3 from the early 2000’s and 1 from the 2010’s and they run fine. It’s possible quality control dropped since this is common with many brands and not limited to guns. Since Covid many items have dropped in quality control. These days it’s almost imperative, in order to be an internet gun expert, that you must dog Kimber and claim Glock is the best gun ever made. Typical from the black n plastic crowd who hate 1911’s. Now the Kimber SOLO, not made anymore, would not reliably shoot 115grn 9mm ammo. However, it literally says in the owners manual to shoot 124grn or heavier ammo as that’s what its springs are designed for. I have no personal experience with other models by Kimber than their 1911’s and SOLO. ie; EVO, micro 9, .380
45 cal and probably 5-600 rounds.
Around the 2000 time period Kimber was making a name for themselves. I bought a middle grade 45acp Kimber Target brand new. Put 3-400 rounds through it and after shooting it till it got warm it would randomly jam. Kimber made the chamber tolerance to right and when it got warm it would expand and jam. The rear sight blade also came off.
I see several gun auctions in Texas every couple of months and the most resold sold guns I see is Glock and I can’t imagine why
Kel-Tec P32. Don’t even know I’m carrying it and it doesn’t print.
I buy all PSA. Guns and rifles
Just bought three 5.7
Dragonoves were 700 bucks back 20 years ago. Just never liked them too dam long.
I convinced a friend of mine to pass on the Glock that the store was trying to sell him, and to buy a revolver. His wife and him were not regular shooters and wanted a home defense firearms. Explained that with the Glock, you really should practice at a range regularly. A revolver can sit in your bed stand table, and when you needed it, take it out, point and pull the trigger!
Ehhh I disagree. You still need to aim
And revolvers are harder to be accurate with
you still need to go out and train.
Oh I just love Maggie!
Hellcat? Grumman at the Bath Iron Works.
Hell Cat !!!! I was thinking MOPAR
😂❤
Lol😂
My first thought was Gruman (F6F Hellcat, WW2 Navy Fighter).
Now…THAT is really funny…..good one.
As an owner of both, there is no comparison between the Taurus G2C and the Springfield Hellcat. The Hellcat is far better than the Taurus.
Love the video's, Greetings from South Africa.
My plastic fantastic go boom every time
So what? So do the rest of them.
Um...you do realized that going 'boom' is normally a BAD thing. I prefer guns to go 'bang' myself. Jus' sayin'
@@993isgawd The Glock Kaboom, more fun than a barrel of piranha.
Everyone's got their favorite brands. I've always been a Ruger fan. I think this is probably because my father used Rugers. The brand you were first introduced to tends to stick with you. It doesn't hurt that there's a Ruger factory about 15 minute drive from my house either. I'm also a Colt fan, but unlike Ruger, which I have three of in my collection, I've only one Colt since their high prices make it hard for me to justify them with my income.
The Gp 100 is a fine revolver.
I'm never buying another Ruger. They're all crap. Way overrated.
@@joewoodchuck3824 I have a Ruger .45 ACP P97. It's a discontinued firearm that I've had for over two decades. Still fires like it was yesterday. Hollow points and FMJ of various manufactures. It's like my Romanian or Serbian AK; still eating ammo and functioning. I'm sure there are Ruger guns that aren't up to standard occasionally, so I wonder what you bought. I'll never sell my Ruger .45 any time soon---it's like a tank. Maybe Ruger stumbled on a couple of things, but I'd buy the same firearm again if I wanted to. It's that reliable.
@@joewoodchuck3824 And yeah I may have gushed a bit there, lol. I'm not married to just one brand, ultimately. Except maybe Mossberg shotguns---I've quite a fan for a reason, heh.
@@christopherrobin361 Mossberg is another budget brand. They're ok up to a point. Not very smooth, but functional. I had one of their .22s which I should have given more of a chance to.
Glock is pure marketing and not the quality of S&W, Beretta, Sig or Ruger.
In over 40 years Glock still refuses to add a manual safety to their stale stagnant design un!ess bidding on an Army contract .
Three letters…….. IWI might want to get a couple of them in and see what happens.
P.S. I feel the same way about Glock as you guys do about the Hellcat. Although I also am not a fan of the XD’s either…
glocks are like Stanley tumblers right now lol
Remember that if you’re buying colt now you’re really buying CZ.
I really want the Barretta PX4 Storm
I have it in .40, but prefer the HK VP40 and XDm. I think it’s the lighter weight of frame, but it feels like it takes more to put it back on target. However, to each their own. I’ve heard that some people even like Glocks.🤣
@@alanpettibone I live in NJ so 2A is hard to exercise and when buying a pistol there are several hoops to go thru. Therefore I only have the one pistol and it was far more expensive than it should have been. I did experiment and found for me using 147 grain 9mm on my CZ p10s lowers the recoil and puts the round on target much better than a faster round.
Love Glock, fire different rounds by barrel change works for me, easy to clean !
But I really like the Kimber K6s DASA 3 in. Just not the price tag right now.
Browning BDM. Super reliable, out of production. You can still find new ones because of the Government bid and production that had to be made to make that bid.
Sell more 365, hellcats and shield plus also fpc rifles
I would ask in shop: what is the less often selled gun.
I want a Laugo Alien; haven't ever seen one in a store.
The owner of that store has a TREASURE in-house! (Heard he's a relative.) On one hand, Maggie's cute & sweet; on the other, she knows her stuff, "HARD CORE".
The Canik TP9 Elite SC is the perfect carry gun!
It’s a good gun. I have one. But I wouldn’t say perfect carry. It’s a chunky bastard
Maybe for you, but it's thick and heavy. Not a good carry gun for many people.
Do you have any 410 ammo?
Well they own colt. Bad investment as colt is no powerhouse in sales here in usa
Here's the answer: GLOCKS...
I also didn't like my hellcat. Sold it.
Like to get me another lever action or milsurp semi auto 30 cal , but truck needs some repairs so it will have to wait, thanks
