It's always good to get back out there 👌 Mixed blessings with that salt, clears the roads well but it's a killer for the bikes if you don't get it off straight away. I keep hearing mixed things about the mic minis, some love em, some have trouble with them peaking out quite a lot, even with that low cut filter on. Oh, and gotta love that Ali Express 😂 Crackin weather after all this crap we've had. Stay safe bud 👍
Yes the mini mike is a bust for me. For the price it's good but the mic 2 is superior in every respect and not that much more expensive. Got the bike washed off when I got back and, let's be honest, unless it's pissing down I'm going to try to get out
@@Teuchteronabike I've been thinking about them mics purely cos of the size of them in the helmet. Hopefully, if they do a Mic 3 it will have the features of the Mic 2 but the size of the minis.
I'm very disappointed with the mini mic. At higher speeds it can't handle the increased background noise. When I got on the road after Castle Douglas and got some decent numbers on the speedo and it was a complete disaster (no better than an unfiltered lav mic). I've worked too hard to get the sound at a quality I'm happy with to mess about with it any more so I'll stick to my mic 2s which have the advantage of recording internally too.
@@Teuchteronabike I had the same problem with mine, I had to use AI to get a somewhat decent sound I did not have the mic 2 with me at the time so I had to use the audio form the mini mic, like you, I will be going back to my mic 2 it a shame the mini fits well in the helmet, but the sound quality from the mic mini is not up to scratch when I use it on the bike.
My bike is still in hibernation lol. I can also vouch for the quality of your keyrings, they are excellent. Yea got to have your ID on your drone. Just a money maker for the CAA.
Thanks for the vote of confidence with the keyrings. It's just a paying hobby really in my retirement. 6 or 7 weeks without a ride was too much for me. Had to get out.
Completely white where I am in Moray, last ride was xmas eve can't wait for some clear days, this coming week should be good. Whats the story with these keyrings then?
Aye you've had it much worse than us down here. It's just cold and frosty as hell now. The keyrings are laser engraved leather or metal. It started as a hobby when I got a cheap diode laser to play with. Now I've got various types of lasers coming out of my ears. The selling point is that I can engrave pretty much any design on them. I sent some to Graham (haggis whisperer) which he put on a video th-cam.com/video/Lvlp1dHlz5M/w-d-xo.htmlsi=M9nyrwFKqRf8yy8F Drop me an email if you're interested and I'll give you examples. I don't have a website because I get enough business from word of mouth, craft fayres etc. Thanks for watching

Thank s for the ride out, the seat looks great, it matches the bike. The audio sounded good to me.
