Drumlogue came to add drums to the "Logue" series. It not a revision of the Electribes. They are still selling Electribe 2 nowadays, very old machine, but it still useful, almost 10 years after first one came to the market.
@@modulartheory I guess that is kind of my point? All these years later this is still a fantastic groovebox; which Drumlogue is clearly not meant to be. It is like Korg wanted various bits of Elektron at 2/3 the price of their mid-range stuff and left out too much "secret sauce" IMHO. Though it could cost up to twice as much even used there are far more capable and interesting synth drum units, sampler drum units, and analog drum units to combine as desired. I just feel like making this a jack of all trades master of none at the price was not a great choice. I wonder how many would love it even at $300?
That was pretty dope shit, yo! I loved my e2 back in the day making acid trax, I tried Goa (my heart is in goa) but couldn't master it completely on this one but you Sir, you nailed it! Impressive! Makes me miss it... Always considering getting one again since you can tweak som pretty great sounds from it :)

Those tracks marked with "Virus" contains sampled stuff from Virus ;) I mean how much what is playing there is build using Elektribe build in oscillators and what is sampled from other synths ? Very cool track btw !
I have to eletribes, I usually routing channel from 1 to 8 of that one #01 to send midi to my virus. When I am using just one, I usually use those channels with internal samples or the internal engineer. About samples... I have two types one-shot samples or my own single cycle waveforms. I usually do my basses with single cycle waveform, snare hats ... samples, another melodies are made with internal OSC.
I usually have my own samples and my own OSC using a simple cycle waveform. But I do my sounds in E2s always from scratch, I don't use presets, patches or patterns, because I deleted all the original patterns.
It is a 'sketch' as I wrote in the title. ;) Goa tempo 145 BPM. But you are right in some point, it still needing acid lines and indian mélodies. But is it a sketch. I hope to polish and finish it very soon. 🙏

There is a Master fx on Electribe2 called Mod Delay. It is a Ping Pong delay actually.
