Just found your channel. Basically you have a small block chevy, 283, 327 or a 350. That’s the basic engine size. Depending on the bore and stroke it could be as big as a 383. As far as naming it, I’d call it Resurrection Just my two cents worth.

Paint opposite color of cobra, you know like left and right, red on white vs white on red they kind of matching cars. Make it ride smooth, so you'll want to drive it, then share and enjoy!
Hi, Ivan and Mike! You continue to have one of the most interesting and diverse rebuild channels on TH-cam, congrats! I believe what you have is a modified Ford Model A body (can’t tell the exact year as there’s been a lot done to it) but I would guess ‘29 or ‘30. It’s been chopped and put on a non-original frame, also “juice” brakes and regular shocks have been added. I believe the engine may be a Chevrolet small block (383)? The front axle and leaf springs are modified Model A. I bet it’d be a kick to drive with close to a couple hundred horsepower...the original Model A had 42 HP. Cleaned up, straightened up and with nice paint it should be worth at least twice what you paid for it, maybe more. Have fun! -Don
Good buy guys. These hot rods go for about $12,000 to $15,000 finished the way it was. It's not a model T or A. Model A has a fuel filling on the cowl in front of the windshield. With the vent on the cowl it's most likely a 32 -34 Ford cab and radiator shell. Looks like a 32 frame as well. The engine has an oil filler in the intake that makes it early to mid 60s 283 or 327. Likely around 200 to 250 HP. Very nice truck. Cheers!

Awesome buy. I think it is supposed to be a Rat Rod, so lots of patina. I would fix the doors so they seal and gaps are good. Leave the rust and dents. Clear coat it to preserve it. And have fun with it. Definitely a small block Chevy.

Maybe change the engine and transmission to a small block Ford with a C6 trans. I believe the headlights are from a 1936 Ford. They are bigger than the other years. I would do the metal work and custom paint.

Speed way auto will have pretty much everything you will need to fix it . I believe you have 350 chevy motor and probably 350 trubo transmission. I think you got a good deal on it.
That's definitely an old school traditional hot rod, needs a little TLC, like new tires, headlights make sure all the electrical is good on it steering brakes fuel tank fuel lines that would need to be done for safety purposes as well as reliability on the road anything else could be changed by whoever buys it if you were to decide to sell it
Have the axle and spindles magnafluxed for cracks. I would replace them if it was mine. I couldn't see what it has for drum brakes in the front. Some systems are better than others. You definitely want to make sure you have a dual circuit master cylinder. If you retain the drum brakes make sure that you are using Lincoln backing plates. They are available through MT Products. If you decide to go with disc brakes upgrade the front calipers from the 2-1/2" to 2-3/4" AFCO Racing ones. They are only $79 each for brand new. Metal work the grill shell straight and buy an insert. As a hot rod builder these are my suggestions. Highway 101 Rod and Custom 360-536-1441
You could rat rod it and use whatever you have lying around......there's a TON of hot rod sources online......you could buy a complete bolt on front end with suspension. If you want to see some examples, vanguard motors out of Michigan. Take some inspiration from some of their's.
