    This is has happened to a few hundred people from what I can see thru comments in other videos. This feels like a nightmare. My friend Got two tvs for the house and both tvs have managed to develop these lines. We don’t even touch the tvs. We literally just use the remotes…unreal lol. Nothing seems to work. Thanks for ur help tho: u tried lol

    I’ve got about a 1in thick horizontal line right at the bottom of my V585-H1 Vizio that spans the entire length of the screen. What do you think it is?

    So I had a screen problem with my Vizio 24" D series today but volume still was transmitting. Already have a few pixel line's acting up for awhile but it's not extreme and just depends what colors are showing on the screen it's not worth throwing out just for that. But today my screen was on and the bottom third was black and white bold band's and the top portion kept moving different colors and trying to show the program. Kept trying doing the unplugging of cord's and powering on and off from the back but nothing changed. Kept the TV off for several hours and came home and nothing changed but had it on with the voice still working and all of a sudden everything came back to normal with the picture. Can't explain what even happened and really couldn't find anyone close enough showing a similar issue except you. Wished I took a picture of the problem screen to figure things out but maybe you have a clue of what I'm saying. Thanks

    I agree if you got lines on your vizio, it will soon be in the dumpster

      50%+ of the time it's possible to fix it, I think.

    When applying tape to a vizio tv, I couldnt quite understand what you were saying cause of your amazing accent.. apply it to the gate driver?

    • @techtests
      @techtests  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! Yes, apply tape to the factory bonded contact with the gate driver on the side of the display panel, but only if pressing on the gate driver with your fingers removes the horizontal lines.

    Vizio is terrible. D24F-G1 failed once and just got covered by warranty- but a year and a half later of rare use- I have horizontal and vertical lines again. Nothing fixed it. But thank you for the steps that didn't work for me. It just started one day while using it as a monitor. This should not happen to such current devices.

      I have one that has hair line lines halfway up the screen that looks like it's shaded halfway the screen. And to add insult to injury it's only one year old that I hardly ever watch , It's total garbage 👎👎

      Vizio use to be my go to brand, but they are dead to me now. My first HD 45 inch Vizio lasted 10 years. Since then I have had two larger and newer models last less and less time. I will never buy Vizio again!

  • @mattcasdorph

    The fact that this is so common, Vizio should be forced to repair these TV's that are out of warranty. Because this happened just outside warranty
