When they place the liquid into the pan you notice how it goes all the way to the brim, right? Well as the water dries out of the paint the volume of the paint decreases within the pan and shrinks down. We don't want half filled pans so you'll add more of the liquid paint on to that dried paint to increase the total volume. This process is called "layering." You add more layers until the pan is as full as you desire it to be. ❤️
