The positivity in this comment section is very wholesome and uplifting. This guy used to get all kinds of hate, people mocked him and made fun of him for a ton of different reasons. Its really cool how everyone can agree that its good to see him sober and healthy, regardless of how people felt about his music or his past.

It truely is so impressive, I struggle with benzo addiction that I'm now just getting out of and you describe it perfectly, I lived in a fog for almost 3 years, I thought I was myself but I suppressed so many emotions and did so much dumb shit under the influence of it, just seeing things more clearly and from a new perspective, I now start to think about things like where do I want to be at in 5 years. I would never even have that thought when I was doing benzos every day, I was only busy with feeling good and the present and had no plans for the future, now my future is looking so bright it is unbelievable. I thought I wouldn't make it out of the withdrawals alive, the worst part is over now, I'm obviously gonna struggle with cravings and I might slip up every once in a while but that is just part of the recovery process from this horrific drug. I was lucky not to take an insane amount every day, the last year I was at 2 to 4 mg's of xanax a day (calculated to flubromazepam, a research chemical benzo which you can order online in the Netherlands very easily). I have done this before, I was 7 months sober 1,5 year ago and I will quit them for good now. Goodbye to the devil, hello to life.

Everyone is cheering him on. The comment section is beautiful and i hope he sees his hard work and dedication is paying off. So very proud of him. I wana see him win!!! I just watxhed his interview with blackyspeakz done like 6mths after this and hes still sounds incredible and even said if he never gets back to the fame he had in 2018 he doesnt care because he's life now is so much better and he loves waking up everyday clear headed and sober. Brother was even sipping outta a coffee mug!!! So happy for him. Its so hard to beat addiction and imagine trying to do it while ur thrust into the spotlight for everyone to scrutinize. Loved this interview

I too had multiple seizures due to Xanax addiction. Months and weeks had passed, and I could not recall the majority of those days. When my supply ran out, everything went downhill. I was moving clothes from my apartment to my car, and the next thing I knew, my aunt was in tears, holding me on the pavement, with cops, an ambulance, and people looking on. I couldn't remember my name, the city, the president, or anything else. A few days later, another one occurred, and I did what I had to do to end that addiction. The reason I got on the pills in the first place was because I had found my brother dead from a fentanyl overdose. I tried to cope with it by using, and it almost cost my mother another son. Thank God I am alive today. I recently lost everything when I was doing the right thing because my fiancée left me, but even through this, I feel blessed. I'm happy to see Lil Xan doing better! Be blessed, everyone!
