also, for some reason this video makes me want a polyriddim reaction from you. it's a song made by a producer who is really into jazz and combined elements of underground dubstep/riddim with jazz, and is one of the most unique songs in existence imo. Maybe you have heard it, but if you haven't, you gotta give it a shot.
for me it always felt like the dubstep and edm sounds were a bit forced in because it was trendy back then (2012?) but that also made it super unique which is why i also love it since it's such a strange combination of stuff 😆

Hey, have you listened to kensuke ushio? He's another great anime composer. His most popular works would have to be A Silent Voice and most recently Chainsaw Man. Most of his music feels really intimate, something you really need to listen to with headphones to catch all of the details in the composing. Whenever I listen to his tracks I feel like the music is talking directly to me and I'm pretty sure you would like to react to it. For example, if I'm not wrong, for a movie called Liz and the Bluebird, some of the tracks were recorded from the inside of a piano or something like that (not sure how it works). If I had to pick a track to recommend to you it has to be wind, glass, girls from Liz and the Bluebird. The movie is a coming of age story, mainly focusing on the topic of letting go, so the theme of growing up and moving forward in life is constantly present in the music, as well as some conflict here and there. As the film is about youth and the growing up of the characters there are some everyday life elements introduced in some tracks, such as a door sliding or footsteps. It's those kinds of details that make kensuke ushio special to me. I feel like there's a lot more I could say about the music but it's kind of hard to express it in words. You should REALLY react to the full soundtracks of parts 3-6 after you finish their animes, i think Yugo Kanno is one of the greatest composers EVER, every song is so unique and flavorful, regardless of how little or much it's used in the anime proper, id love to see someone musically inclined listen to and react to the entire soundtracks
man... someone please recommend him "duel in the mist - Inazuma OST", would like to see what he thinks about more classical jap. instruments and the peace itself :)
