I started a month ago and having MA in the back row doesn't help except to put something there. What usually works for me is to have goblikazes and tanks back there. Alternating gobs and paladins for example really helps.

I also put 2 frost Mages in my 2nd back row so they can freeze/AoE slow Ghost assassins and the magic apprentices when they show up.
Bro from my experience 2 sets of Goblikazes at back side , any 2 tanks , and 1or2 set of fighting troops are enough for ghost ass. . Goblikazes deals explosive damage to ghost and after that fighting troops can take them down easily🤗🤗
I agree 100%. And I actually found that putting the suicide bombers in the 2nd or 3rd back row gives the ghost assassins time to bunch together on the right and left side. So if you put 2 bombers in the 3rd back row, left and right side, they will run to the center of 2 or 3 ghost assassin units clumped together, who are trying to target the same unit at the same time. Try and put Paladin and brawler in back row. If you dont have enough to spare from your front row, you can always supplement your back row with cactus, as they reflect damage, and ghost assassins have high damage, low health and, low defense. The cactus unit can turn their high damage against them, put brawlers and paladin next to cactus, to boost their defense, and that's the best defense, other than a solid wall of level 8 Paladin and brawlers.
@@radioactivemanonfire the cactus idea on the back row works great for me. I use a level 8 ogre in the center of the back row and put goblikaze's next to it with cactus holding the sides. It works really well as the goblikaze set close to the middle sets almost the whole back row on fire and the GA's seem to go straight for the ogre in the middle. The fire is still burning when the MA's show up and it seems to help dispatch them quicker as well.
The strategy that works best for me is a symmetrical aproach...first and last row kamikazes and aprentices, second row tanks middle row range troops (ice and fire mages on the side and ballista and catapults in the middle) fill up with what you have left
In this video at 3:25 it contradicts what it just said - putting totem in the back doesn't distract nothing - the totem didn't realize they have ghost assassins in the back and just keeps running forward, while letting the GAs to keep hitting their backs until they die without dealing 1 single damage/ fear to anything or anyone. I tried it and really hate the idea that against many types of formations they just die without doing anything. Can't have part of my formation do nothing if i were to win. _ I guess that's why u don't see top players put totems in the back. Even ogres are not that great in turning around and fight. No good answers what to put in the backrow, except as some of the top players do it, they put archers as sacrifices to narrow down their aim. Alternatively , put all your GA, MA, and demons in the back so that it creates a void before the enemy GA and MA to catch up, let them run for a few seconds for nothing - by the time they caught up, we've killed 10s of the enmey troops and have the number advnatage.
Use 2 sets of goblikazes in the very back row with 1-3 spaces inbetween them, will deal with 80%+ of ghost ass and if they have a Poseidon have one space inbetween n he will either die or be left with 20-40% hp, have two tanks in the back row and thats enough for the remaining ghosts to focus them rather than your other troops.
@@SamuraiDer1 Tried this yesterday, easiest fix so far. Gets all of them 90% of the time, and when it doesn't, the 10 or fewer that survive are easily handled before they can do serious damage.

I think that the another one Hero that is rlly gud and redcommended for absolutely everybody is Moon Goddess-Selene. She is the one that was born for distracting Assasin, and not like another hero, they need lvl to reach into the lvl of damages that can shut down all the assasin at 1 skill, or they will just make damages to them and leave them alive at all. But Moon Goddess is different, she is rlly usefull thought she is just lvl 1, and thought the times that i am writting this tus, there are a new event to get her so that will be a gud chance for us to get a one for our teams, so hope your guys enjoy this game.
I would usually just put high level paladins in the back to hold off the ghost assassins long enough for my other troops to wipe out the rest of the troops leaving only the ghost assassins And that’s IF the paladins don’t kill them
HELP! I have a Problem. I only can fight the top 10 in arena I dont know why :( always get only like the best 10-20 Players as enemys, doesnt Matter how often i restart the game, it does not Chance:/ the Problem is i have no Chance against them, i have only 330k "power" and im somewhere around rank 1000 in the arena, so i dont understand why i dont get enemys that are on the same Level as me :( hope someone can help me

I think that the Goblikatzes are the best destroyers of Ghost assasins if you put them in the back row
1 line of sacred swordsman and soulhunters. upgrades are frequent, but lower levels are very effective.
When I see that thing the first thing I make was change my formation and put a lot of tanks it works really good

I got 3 sets of the bomb suicide guys takes care of assassin and apprentice fairly easy.

Templar Knights are slept on but they have AoE knock Back as well...and when paired with Orge or W. Totem it is just Chase and Bounce Fest.
