The best interview I've seen in years. I've followed your You Tube channel with great interest since the very beginning. What I find really heartening Tom, is that you are passing on such valuable life skills to youngsters, today they are lucky to have such guidance. 👍

A cracking interview. Very interesting. And here I was naively thinking that you'd been pensioned off. Really interesting 👍🏻

Fantastic watch, thank you both. Loved the end about schools and what isn't being taught and what should be ie team work etc - you guys should flippin' be in government in terms of what should be included in schooling, give the younger generation something to focus on other than drugs/gangs etc

Amazing interview, really love your channel Tom.
Saw your video about OP Hendrick, must’ve been a real cracking time to be in such an elite unit. My only question, what your reaction after becoming a pathfinder and how’d you feel on your last day?

I was mega chuffed when l passed the cadre. When l left it was a sad day but it was time to move on, it’s a young man’s game.

I loved military parachuting but i hated, absolutely hated roping. Like rappelling or fast roping. Scared the shit out of me. I remember to paying proper attention to my instructors on my first jumps and had heels arse landings. Once i got my feet right, it was like a revelation. My instructor wasn't just talking shit. Australian.

I guess you guys fast rope like the Yanks, ie you use your feet?
