Micro CT is a 3D imaging technique utilizing X-rays to reveal the inside of an object, slice by slice, without physically cut through the object. In this sense, it is a "virtual 3D" technique.
Micro computerized tomography (toe-MOG-ruff-ee) , similar to hospital CT or “CAT” scan, but on a small scale with increased resolution.
