If you get a chance while your there take a drive round the ring of Kerry its stunning, I did an iron man there 3 years ago, an going back again next year to do it again, the country side in Killarney an kenmere are just breath taking.

Amazing! Well done! My biggest annoyance with GoPros is their battery life, it's so frustrating. Even carrying spares is a bit of an issue to change over if you've got it mounted to something and you're mid activity!
Also how did none of the people who congratulated you as you crossed the line not realise that you were the first female they'd seen! It's not like you were behind too many men, either!
@@tamsinthompson832 haha actually I was the second woman to cross the line (10th overall) but the first woman had started 3 mins earlier than me, and i only finished a minute behind her so technically came first. Complicated but a fun surprise!
Did you hire the bikes when you were there? I really want to do a adventure race but bikes are expensive to invest in and i already have a mountain bike!

Yessss omg its SO ANNOYING. And the SD card has such annoyingly small memory too. Changing battery/memory card half way is a no-go for sure.

Yes we rented! Most accessible races will allow you to rent or there'll be places nearby :) Would thoroughly recommend
