That is probably the best example of latest technology and old school planting, it is an incredible video that portray the latest technology and still offer job creation. Nice NH to
That's a dragster of a tractor! Some nice front wheel spin. Interesting how they still have people sitting at the back sorting them by hand just like in the days when they were drawn by horses.

Amazing watching this planter doing celery root! As a decades ago row crop farmer in the US my father and his immigrant neighbor farmers always planted celery root. Long time to growing. But, of course all done by hand. Love celery root even to this day. Looking at the size of the field it seems that maybe there is some medicinal market also besides "domestic"......in country where planting is going on????
I'm wondering when someone will make a machine to attach to the rear of this planter that will unroll, spread out and then tuck the edges in for the floating cover. Given all the crazy machines that we see in Tractorspotter's videos it cant be too far away.
how much do the people who put the plant into the unit that plants get paid? how many acres can they plant in one day? What country is this in? look like a very big and smooth operation to me. Thanks for a very good video. I was raised on a small farm in Tennessee left it in 1956 for a career in the military.
+John Moore This is in Holland. They are famous for their big planting equipment and are a world leader in some cultures (tulips for example). This would be a minumum wage job, around 7 euros per hour (8$)
better turning radius.orginal front differential is without wheels and has a frame extension for steering(and also hydraulic driven)front wheels. Better turning, more weight up front(long nose) . Without it probably wheelie a the time.
+Rene Neureiter During planting the tractor is steered by the GPS quidance and while the planting is going so slow there is no driver needed (there is a emergency stop on the back of the planter)
Unfortunately the only thing to really take note of here... how much pain the lower back of those folks sitting all day must feel.. or even yet the man on that platform bust his ass all day...you dir are a true BOSS! may GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. .
You must have a pretty comfy job if you consider this paticular activity ''hard work''. I'm not trying to sound like an ass but i can think of quite a few jobs way less comfy than sitting/standing behind a tractor, enjoying a little breeze while handling little plants and lightweight trays.
*Another fantastic video from your channel! Can't wait for what's coming next.*
You know your good at making videos when, watching planing is entertaining.

You are making a wonderful job!
great job

00:50 Ferrari multipla F-max planter?
is that something someone has welded together themselves from other parts? Or do they actually make a machine that looks like that in a factory.
I love how the front wheels came up
Very interesting process. Think they need a few front weights though. :)
Some water in tires.

Looks like they need to put a counterweight on the front. And why did the sprayer not wait till the planter was done?
Good question
very nice
I came here to see magnificent western technology and then saw a sweat shop on the end of a planter.
Dat weegt er wel in, slip slip. Hij rijd op GPS neem ik aan? Mooie video.
Great videos, can you tell me the date that the planting was done?
Here we had 2m. of snow on ground during feb.2015
Merseysidenforcer Most of the Celeriac planting in Northern Europe is done from the beginning of april till half may.
*Spectacular!!!!*
Goofy Celeriac dragster, love it. Needs a bit more front weight, it seems (5:40).
Super !!

very great
Explains why it's so relatively expensive. Although economies of scale must play a part too.
Would benefits does using the trike have over a conventional tractor?
i'm sure in some instances it would have a better use over a conventional tractor
Is a better turning option in reduced spaces
Does the front part come off? It looks like it could be a regular 4 wheeled tractor.
if you pause at 4:30 you can see the original forward axle
Bravo pour cette vidéo.
Super
Yo alucinó con estas máquinas
What pesticide for the weeds and what pesticide for the wild herbs do you spray the celeriac?
excellent!!!!!!
Auto steer is pretty cool
Why did they cover the plant with nylon. and why did they dewater the the plant after the covarage. Can anyone explain it.
Because of you give the plants water of the sun is shining bright on them, they "burn" and die. The nylon catches most of the direct light.
At one point it looked like one of the planting positions was not occupied. What did this mean? Maybe it was left out for the irrigation system.
Or for that side of the floating cover, where they shouldn't have plants.
That's a good idea too.
erg leuke video
so is the point of having a Trike for even compaction?
Ordinary miracle.
Nice Video.

+vegass04 Thanks for the info.
Nice!

Nice machine and video :)))
Wo findest du diese traktoren?
need to get a locking front diff on it
Yeah
It will look good if u got that stuck
The Cornish Dairy Boys a locking diff on a single drive? lol you know fuck all about machinery hahahahahaha
Mack Thompson shut the fuck up
What do you know about machinery
And u can get a front diff
So yeah shut the fuck up
That tractor is not a 2 wheel drive so you have 3 diffs on a tractor
Front back and all four wheels
So yeah Get told
There is not a motor as you call it
There is a shaft call probshaft and that dives the front wheels
love the front of it..... just a hood chopped in half and some machine with the auto stear and gps and cruise control.
Spettacolare !
Úžasná mašina!
Great video, that's some machine! :-)
From where this
nice video LIKE
Is it working on auto pilot mode
+sayed anis Yes. GPS guides, only humans needed for the turns :)
wowzers, i did not expect that thing to do wheelies from the weight of celeriac seedlings
4:05 ....5 peoples lol,one missing :P
could someone explain the functionality of the tractor to me please ?
Ed Macfarlane what need to be explained? works as a platform
I understand the implement. Why is the tractor so long and why does it have the two front wheels so close together.
better turning radius.orginal front differential is without wheels and has a frame extension for steering(and also hydraulic driven)front wheels. Better turning, more weight up front(long nose) . Without it probably wheelie a the time.
ahh okay thankyou.
Ed Macfarlane less soil compaction since front tires dont trail rear tires
Thats a better way of planting
Unlike the way we did it.
Bending over for hours on end planting by hand

waw nice working
I wonder hom much those ppl are making for that. Just sitting there for days upon days puting plants in the holes
im sure there are worse job's than that.
It looks like notching because notching looks like that
Wieso brauch man da ein Trike. Welche vorteile bringt das!
Because now they can carry two large tanks filled with fertillizer instead of one big tank in the three point linkage.
