I just discovered this insanely wonderful version of this insanely wonderful song a few years ago, and I always go back and revisit it on a semi-regular basis. This song takes me back to a very interesting and rather happy time of my life ❤
Every time I hear this song, it's 1987 all over again. Thank you for posting this and thank you to the March Violets for doing this song. For me it's magical
Am I the only one who realizes that this is the version that was used in the movie, yet a different version with changed lyrics appeared on the soundtrack?
There have been a ton of "bar scenes" from 80s movies but this one was the best in my opinion- with a close second to the Plimsouls "million miles away" during their scene in "Valley Girl". This version is incredible. But I'm still partial to the Original soundtrack version
That scene was the best piece of work. It made you feel exactly what she was feeling. No matter how old or what gender you were it just hurt your heart watching her in that scene. So realistic and relatable. So much pain but yet it left you with a small glimmer of hope. Then you know the end. :)
To love someone and to have it slowly taken away bit by bit until there's nothing heartbroken love is the light in your face I know now I know now love won't pass you by I know your eyes don't lie I'm awake at night dreaming of you and I call your name but you slip right through
Thanks for posting this! I was watching "Some Kind Of Wonderful" this weekend and this track, for me, stole the show! Long live the 80's -- an instant feel good 4 ever -- Cheers!
Amazing song...From one of my favourite films of all time. Great to hear the 12'' version. The video from Rock America was removed from TH-cam.. But thank you INMOR4L!
When sumthing is perfectly fine the way it is dont mess with it.....this version is way better than the one on the soundtrack....I got the soundtrack and was like what the hell???.....this is not the song on the movie.....I like both versions but this one is and will always be my favorite....
Duncan was our hero! So it was a bit coincidental that years later we became good friends with some of the skinheads in our high-school. They had a bad reputation - but some of them were really good guys. We weren’t skinheads, but it was comforting to know that if something went down, they had our backs.

This is probably the best song I've discovered since Don't Change by INXS
Man, Don't Change is so sick!

Movie: Some Kind Of Wonderful
Wonderful. I prefer this later stuff that has a bit more of a poppy edge.

I love you, Lea Thompson
Matheus Caetano Mary Stuart Masterson was better. Yay Watts!
I played this remix at my wedding.
The musical version they made from the movie sounds more like this version then the one from the soundtrack of Some Kind Of Wonderful!
OK. Very experimental. Guitar looping, keyboards, and vocal looping.....experimental metal a bit🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
