I have the creative icon 2 and its fantastic but one of the things that bugs me is the telescopic thread stand. You have to sew with lid up and it gets very dusty. I often forget to raise the stand so after a few inches of sewing the thread snaps because its not unwinding. To get round all this, I've taped a large paper clip to the far right back corner, up top, and make use my freestanding thread stand. Thread feeds freely into that corner and I just then follow the regular threading pattern.
This is my future purchase. Just waiting for an inheritance that is coming soon.
