    I have always been in confusion about this technology. However, get through this video from start to end enlighten me so well about what it is. Great job Sir!

    Another great video, Thank you! I'm looking forward to your future videos on this. I have been eagerly waiting for this day since your arduino track haha, much appreciation!

    I remember watching this video a while back as well as some others and I learned the difference between a raspberry pi and an arduino. Before your videos I was totally 💯 stumped on so much!

    Yo you’re back! There was sort of a tangent? Love the lessons. YOU are responsible for a large portion of the knowledge I now have. Especially with surveillance systems (2012) that’s what brought me to your videos and I’m grateful for the help.
    You kinda skipped over the whole psu/amps thing there with that pi4. That’s what I was looking for when you reappeared! (I can’t member or donate at this time) But view count on a vid about pi4 power…with an Eli title…
    I really want to know how much you hate windows 10
    I want a 2 hour video *minimum Destroy it!

      I rarely log into youtube. You were the pc guy up until 2015. Last vid I saw of you was about hyper v. I didn’t understand it or know what it was for…. Just looked at your youtube page… I have searched for many of your topics since then and I would have clicked on you first if they were shown to me.
      Keep going with the orange maybe there’s more out there like me.

    I am a complete begginer, is it difficult to install an operating system and then later overwrite that with a different operating system? Like your not stuck with an operating system once you initially install it right?

      @KevinSchmitt77 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Right. The OS is run from the microSD card. You can either A) install that microSD card into another computer to overwrite it or B) keep a number of different microSD cards with different OSs on them and just swap them when you want to run a different OS. For example, I have one SD card for my Plex/HTPC build and another for Rasbian that I code with.

    Is there anyway to push info from the System Monitor in Windows 10 and get a Raspberry Pi to display it in separate monitor as a dashboard?

    raspberry pi 0w seems good for server-only OS (no graphics), so we don't need much ram. I might give it a shot to use as SMB and HTTP server. It's a shame it doesn't have a jack. Do you think we can play music from it? I don't know if we can connect speakers through USB. But maybe bluetooth

    • @KevinSchmitt77
      @KevinSchmitt77 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can play music through the onboard 3.5mm jack but the quality is not the best. You can get really good add-on DACs (Digital to Audio Converter) HATs that use the GPIO pins instead of USB or Bluetooth. Depending on the type you get they can output to RCA, 3.5mm, or even balanced XLR jacks if you're a serious audiophile. There are other HATs that output to fiber (TOSlink) so you can keep the signal digital and send it to your AV receiver from your home network.
      You can even set up your Pi as Roon endpoints to play your music throughout your house from a Roon music sever on your home network.
      There are many people who have developed audio solutions for the Pi so we all have the ability to make custom setups. Good luck!
